Israeli Defense Force: Fight for Independence is a Total Conversion modification for the PC game Battlefield 2 (A.K.A. BF2). What we aim to achieve with this mod is to immerse the player into the historic wars involving Israel, Syria, Egypt, and Jordan, which are the 6-Day War, the War of Attrition, and the Yom Kippur War. The player will be able to play as a common soldier, crewmember, or pilot in these wars. The mod will feature historically accurate equipment such as the famous Russian AK-47, the fearsome SO-4050 bomber, the menacing IS3 and M48 tanks, and much, much more. Also, the maps will recreate actual battles that happened in these wars, to complete a historically-accurate and immersive modification. IDF:FFI is also a member of the acclaimed cooperative gaming studio Black Sand Studios.
The M72 LAW (Light Anti-Tank Weapon), is a portable one-shot 66-mm unguided anti-tank weapon. The increased importance of tanks and other armored vehicles in World War II caused a need for portable infantry weapons to deal with them. The M72 LAW is a combination of two World War II weapons, the Panzerfaust and bazooka. The basic principle is a miniaturized bazooka, while its light weight and cheapness rival the Panzerfaust.
In early 1963, the M72 LAW was adopted by the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps as their primary individual infantry anti-tank weapon, replacing rifle grenade and Bazookas in the U.S. Army. The US supplied M72 LAWs to the Israelis before and during the Yom Kippur War. They were heavily used during the war to destroy a multitude of targets. The standard M72A2 anti-armor HEAT warhead has an official stated penetration in 1977 of up to 20 cm/8 inches of steel plate.

Yeah used by the IDF, quickly became a favorite of the troops. Very light weight and powerful for its size, but never as popular or common as the RPG-7.
