Israeli Defense Force: Fight for Independence is a Total Conversion modification for the PC game Battlefield 2 (A.K.A. BF2). What we aim to achieve with this mod is to immerse the player into the historic wars involving Israel, Syria, Egypt, and Jordan, which are the 6-Day War, the War of Attrition, and the Yom Kippur War. The player will be able to play as a common soldier, crewmember, or pilot in these wars. The mod will feature historically accurate equipment such as the famous Russian AK-47, the fearsome SO-4050 bomber, the menacing IS3 and M48 tanks, and much, much more. Also, the maps will recreate actual battles that happened in these wars, to complete a historically-accurate and immersive modification. IDF:FFI is also a member of the acclaimed cooperative gaming studio Black Sand Studios.

To install the new map, copy and paste the Highway_Tampa_v2 folder into the levels folder of your IDF mod. Please read the tutorial carefully and follow the instructions if you want to try out 100 bots and a map.

I followed this tutorial and it works perfectly. But a very irritating problem involving Bots still persists and I will explain why: The limit is only 100 bots for the sides to be BALANCED.

When there was Singleplayer mode, I could put 500 bots in the AIDEFAULT file, and the game would put 250 bots on each side of the teams. But Coop mode does not admit that. If I change to 500 bots, my team will have 500 bots and the rival team will have only 48. That's why I don't like Co-op.

My PC is strong and I never had a problem with Lags due to the large number of troops on the screen, but it does not matter, anyone who does not have the capacity to withstand myriads of bots could continue playing perfectly with the amount of bots that the respective computers can handle . I loved increasing and decreasing bots the way I wanted to, when there was Singleplayer mode, but this new policy of updating with only Co-op is very frustrating.

For now, I will have to play with only 100 bots (which in a way makes me upset), but I beg, please, that you developer, do the next Update BOTH WITH CO-OP MODE AS WITH SINGLEPLAYER. I don't see Co-op as an advantage, quite the contrary, I think it limited the way that I and many lovers of this mod played the games.

I hope you get the message.
