Welcome to my mod. Since I've been playing Vegas 1 & 2 I've heard people complain that certain weapons in the game just aren't realistic. So I researched the weapons in the game and found... They were right! While I haven't adjusted characteristics like the steadiness (or lack thereof) of the weapons when being held or fired (yet, I just might later), I have changed just about everything else. WARNING!!! This mod increases the realism of the game, i.e. it is even more difficult. But since the game has been out for a while I thought people might be up for a little more of a challenge. I adjusted all the weapons to have characteristics closer to the real ones. Most weapons now have slightly better penetration. Weight and fire rate is also now proportional to the real weapon's. I took away unlimited pistol ammo. Movement speed is now proportional to the weapon's weight. Ammo carrying ability is also more realistic. Weapons feature realistic fire select options. Realistic silencers & more.
I thought that people might like to see the mod in action. Here is a demo video. I tried about a half dozen video capture programs and a couple dozen different settings, so my gameplay isn't the best as I just wanted it to work. Despite one of my buttons sticking, I think this video gives a good demonstration of the features of the mod. Here I used the MAC11 and the SCAR in Terrorist Hunt on CQB Dark on Realistic. You get a good view of the effectiveness of using the iron sights, the now realistic fire rates (the MAC11's insane fire rate especially, you'll see how fast I go through clips), and the difference in the way each weapon is used because of its properties (the MAC11 in close quarters with smoke and a silencer, suppressive fire, and head shots, and the SCAR with body shots on opponents from greater distance). The fixed ironsights along make this mod worth getting for owners of the PC version of this game. GREAT WORK!
bad frame rate :S and i dont its because its the hardware. my laptop can run a game lowest possible and frame rate of 25 while i record with x-fire.

Yeah the video jumps a bit for some reason. Probably my fault. I did have a button sticking. That's why my character kept repeating orders. I do think that this video gives a great example of how even the relatively weak MAC11 can be quite effective in a stealth situation. I kept the Raging Bull as my pistol because it is so loud it brings in the bad guys from all over the board, setting up an ambush. I could have just have easily used a suppressed pistol and a different secondary weapon. Try different loadouts and see which style you like best!
