Welcome to my mod. Since I've been playing Vegas 1 & 2 I've heard people complain that certain weapons in the game just aren't realistic. So I researched the weapons in the game and found... They were right! While I haven't adjusted characteristics like the steadiness (or lack thereof) of the weapons when being held or fired (yet, I just might later), I have changed just about everything else. WARNING!!! This mod increases the realism of the game, i.e. it is even more difficult. But since the game has been out for a while I thought people might be up for a little more of a challenge. I adjusted all the weapons to have characteristics closer to the real ones. Most weapons now have slightly better penetration. Weight and fire rate is also now proportional to the real weapon's. I took away unlimited pistol ammo. Movement speed is now proportional to the weapon's weight. Ammo carrying ability is also more realistic. Weapons feature realistic fire select options. Realistic silencers & more.

MP7A1: Greatly reduced damage only partially compensated for by better accuracy, rate of fire, and penetration. Your Bravo Team members Michael and Jung both use this gun as their suppressed weapon or "Return Fire Only Weapon". Although this gun can be equipped with a suppressor, it would never be used in covert ops when you truly need a "silenced" weapon because it uses a supersonic round. Even though your enemy may not see the muzzle flash or hear the gun fire they would clearly hear the bullet, know you were there, and quickly find you. A supreme blunder on the part of the game makers! Taking away the silenced ability unfortunately introduces a bug into the game where Bravo Team is unable to "Go Silent" or switch to "Return Fire Only". As I do not know how to change the guns that Bravo Team carries, I have created a plausible subsonic round that this gun could use based on a 5.37g bullet loaded with only enough powder for sub-sonic speeds. Now benefits from having a fore mounted grip. Really this gun belongs in a separate category as it is really a PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) and not a submachine gun.

again the model here has the 40 round mag not the compact 20 round version which again is primarily used in concealable PDW configs

Yeah, in v2.4 of the mod I have the 20 mag as standard, and the 40 round as the high-capacity mag. The model does not change, however, based on which one is equipped.

Here are some screenshots from the game to show some stats of all the modified weapons.
The stats are all relative to the rest of the guns in the game. And as the models haven't been changed I wanted to give people something to look at. In the original game there was very little variation between guns in a particular group (Shotguns, Assault Rifles, etc). By browsing the pictures you can get a decent idea of how the guns relate to each other. I would however be great if Vegas 2 did have more stats like fire rate, weight, or recoil.
