Hyrule: Total War is a conversion for Medieval 2: Total War. A vast majority of the iconic races from the Zelda universe have been represented as armies that the player can assemble, command, and ultimately use to destroy their enemies. The Hero of Time has chosen to return to the past, a choice that ultimately has ruined the charts of history and sent Hyrule into chaos. Major wars that were already decided have unmade themselves, allowing fallen armies a second chance at these critical events in Hyrule's history. This is where you, the player, comes in. You shall choose how to rewrite the history of Hyrule. Do you stick with the proper path and smite the evil in the land in the name of the Goddesses? Or perhaps you feel that the Hylians have overstayed their welcome as masters of the land and would rather the Gerudo forces of Ganondorf lead Hyrule into a new age leadership? Maybe you feel it's time that the Gorons march from their mountain kingdoms and rebuild their long lost empire, smashing anyone who opposes their will? On the other hand, you might fall in favor of fighting for the Zora Dominion and cleansing the land of imperfect creatures and establishing a new order of purity. Perhaps the forces of nature have won you over, and you would see to it that the Kokiri and beings of the forest rise to power? Or maybe you would act against nature, and infest and consume all life as the infestation of Gohma... There are many races to choose from, and many possible outcomes to your actions. Hyrule's fate is now in your hands. Will you lead it to a golden age of peace, or dominate it in your name?

The Core files are absolutely needed to run any version of the game. That contain larger files such as video and sound that would make a single installer...

"1st place:
- Exclusive DLC that will allow you to play as the Church of Majora, a powerful NPC faction that will only be accesible to you and developers when the game is completed!"

Read the whole thing and you will find your answer.
And to the other guest, you most likely installed the mod in the wrong place make sure the mod was installed in the correct directory.

Awesome, awesome mod. I love how many factions there are to chose from, especially the Darknut, which I was not expecting but overjoyed to discover, as they are my favorite race in the Zelda universe. Do you have any plans to add Ikana and Twilight factions as playable?

There are a few things I think could use improving, however. First off, the Darknut Legion was extremely hard to play as compared to others I tried because most of their units are incredibly slow and there aren't enough of them and I ended up having to heavily rely on mercenaries. Second, the sounds it makes when you open or close a window got to be really annoying. I recommend lowering the volume on it a tad.

Both Ikana and the Twili will eventually be playable in the freeform campaign. The Darknuts will also be getting a few more unit options down the road.

hi dudes.
first of all great mod. many crashes, but great.
second, i got a nasty bug.
everytime after i had successfully attacked the city "Aslosus" as the darknut legion (i didnt tried it with another faction) and i choosed one of the 3 upcoming decisions (just go in, or bang a few heads, etc.) the game crashes.
it doesnt matter if i lead the attack or fight it automatically, and i also tried everyone of the 3 decisions, it crashes everytime.
i also tried the fix from twcenter. i just played a saved game. should i start a new game so that the fix works?
maybe it has nothing to do with the city. i just recognized that the game also crashes when i end the turn without doing anything. it is turn 18.
the game really crashes a lot and the fix and the patch dont seem to work.

forget everything i wrote above.
i started a new game and now everything works fine. i am at turn 36 now and conquered the city without any crashes.
it seems that the patch only works with new games.
