Anyways, this is a new entity - trigger_isseen. It triggers an entity when the player is looking at it. Right now it has 3 parameters, but more will be added. Right now it's almost final. This can be used for retinal scanners, puzzles, cinematics, and loads of other stuff.

Thanks! There's a good example of this kind of puzzle in halfquake. And a good example of the cinematics is in portal 2, when Weatley said "I can't do it with you watching", and the player had to look away.

I have seen something like this in Spirit of Half Life- you mustn't look away from the scanner until it triggers something.
Yes, you have, but I've re-coded this all by myself.
awesome function :D, but for scanners, need make this trigger only when player is closer from scaner
