MERRY CLEARANCE DAY! Sorry, I've been watching too much "Sheep in the Big City". Anyways, here you go, gang, the bullsquid. Obviously, it's a work in progress, unfinished being an understatement. But hopefully, this will satisfy your model-hunger...for now. I've already updated the effects, but I won't post the screenshots.
In 12 hours, I will decide what kind of houndeye eyes to put, so be sure tell me your thoughts below. After modelling the eyes, I will continue to finish the model, and, hopefully, rig, texture, and animate the model. Wish me luck!

Remember, guys, to tell me what kind of houndeye eyes you want - you probably won't get it if you don't tell me.
What does that mean? How can you change the eyes, it's just a bunch balls.
Compare other mods' eyes - some have them tightly packed, some are far apart, with skin in between. Somebody suggested one big eye. Someone else suggested a vort-type eye. Should I make them all equally sized eyes? All these questions, which are just 2, all in all, need to be summed up
you can make the eyes without be chromed, and at the same time use a chrome layer, it's a very good effect that simulates brightness, and in some cases, cubemaps.
Agreed! The only problem is that I think that those running software will have problems.
well, I would say put the balls for eyes, in 3d.
Are you talking about the houndeye or bullsquid? If bullsquid, these ARE eyeballs, what you see are WIP eyelids. It's so WIP because I thought you guys would want an update. Otherwise, eyeballs were clear, it was the arrangement of eyeballs that I wanted to know.

Well, gentulmanz, the time has come for me to decide. But first, Omer, the HL1 houndeye had many eyes, it looked like one because they tried to reduce the poly count. Because Avenger revoked his vote, I have to go with Omer (He DID say like HL1) and LulzferBakon's opinion - randomized and bunched together.
Also, Lulz, I tried it. It tastes like Calamari IN chicken. Definite pwn.

You can make it like the original model, with the fake eyes on the back :)

i did that a long time ago (adding horns to head and a short of organic natural armor) and ye, someone should do a mod to masacre mubarax
Well, several monsters WILL have natural armor, including the "VortiGRUNT", a combination of Alien Grunts and Vortigaunts. Also, it's Mubarak, not Mubarax.
i like to finish with the x for every word, giving the feeling of *** + hax :P
there should be no space between houndeye's eyes, and they should be equal sized, try going for a look more like the houndeye from the hl2 mod "Missing Information"
