Hypercube: Source is a HL2 deathmatch mod. It takes place inside of the same cube that was seen in the moive "Cube 2: Hyperucbe".
It has traps from all three cube movies, and has been designed to simulate infinite cubes in a finite number of rooms. The object of the game is to simply, get out of the cube alive.
This project was started on Jun 21, 2006 and was released on July 21, 2006.
There are three exits in this cube, and to make it more difficult only one exit is activated at one time. Its not easy to get out DONT GIVE UP.
LADDER NOTE:
To use the ladders first, Climb above the side door and press the jump button, you
will land on an invisible ledge. Now you can simply duck and go
through. NOTE: dont duck before you jump and land on the ledge.

Alright I agree the current version is unplayable because of the spawn frags. NOT THE LADDERS. the ladders are fine. it just takes some skill.
I added more respawn points which hopefully will reduce the spawn frags.
And just let me say, I made this mod so that that Me and a few friends could play online together. So thats why its MP and not SP. I just felt like releasing it to ModDB for other cube fans. So if you like it, you like it ,if you dont, you dont.
I also added more boots.
Im uploading now. Dial up= more then an hour upload.
So i'll see ya then.

Wow, this is still coming along. I had no idea, last time I checked it was a few months ago. Good work! =D
nvm figured it out, it was saving to the valve folder instead of steam. Another question tho, how do u get thro the side doors cuz i keep getting stuck on the ladders, the only ones i can get thro are the top and bottom doors
the folder doesnt show up after im done installing. I go into the steam folder and theres nothing there.
And theres nothing in my games list
hmmm, is that the exact error message?
Start the mod from your games list then click on 'Create Server' Choose the map and your settings and press OK.
Hopefully your interest will be sparked once again when its released.
I dont start working on version 3 until this summer.

Double check the directory its installing to,
maybe install it to you desktop then manually place it into your sourcemods folder. then make sure to restart steam.
