Perisno needs Coders!

Hi Folks!
For our team and the development of this great mod we need help!

We are looking for advanced coders that know about the module system and have at least some experience with the following aspects of Warband mods:
- Quest creation and bugfixing
- Implemented Diplomacy mod and how to work with it
- Mission Templates
- Implementing brfs and dds correctly
and also, even more importantly, some social aspects of community:
- teamwork
- feedback
- dealing with critisism
- no arrogance

We also need Testers, Modellers used to open.brf, all kinds of folks. So if you think you can be a valuable part of this team and are willing to sacrifice some of your free time to this mod on a regular basis and not just from time to time...Welcome!

Ok so I am a vassal and have gotten pretty far into the playthrough lots of renown and right to rule owning 3 towns, 4 castles and 1 village and have decided I want to declare independance, however i'm not yet the marshall.

Now I've heard it's better to become marshall, raise controversy to 50ish and take a castle you ask for it, when they deny it you can strike out on your own and keep your fiefs.

But how is this different to when your not a marshall and you don't recieve a fief, you can renounce your oath there and then. I'm not normally one for starting my own kingdom and I can't seem to find much out about it.

You don't have to be a marshal. You can just be a normal everyday Vassal and capture a town/castle and wait for the king to refuse giving it to you, you then either accept the decision or deny it. Denying it will give you the castle/town + all accompanying settlements and you will be starting your own kingdom.
The will hunt your *** hard afterwards, so make sure you are prepared.

I like to be marshal and whittle down my teams army, then rebel so they can't siege me immediatly

If you decide to strike out on your own by leaving the kingdom as a normal vassal, you'll lose all of your fiefs.

Whereas, if you go conquer a castle or city as Marshall, and request it be given to you, and the King refuses, you get the option to either take some gold as compensation, or rebel.

If you rebel, you can break the oath and become independent, or you can decide to keep your fiefs and strike out on your own, immediately founding a new kingdom. You get to keep all your fiefs if you choose the second option.

Do keep in mind that you will be at war with the kingdom you left.
You will also take the fief associated with your current fiefs, if they hadn't been given to you initially.
You will lose any fiefs that were given to you for whom you didn't hold the castle/city.

2. I'm not able to spend Slyter's weapon points. I can spend his other points and everyone else's but just his weapon points aren't working.

It's a great mod, I just had a few remarks and a few questions if you don't mind.

My biggest remark is the music, most of the songs are good, but some really don't fit well with each other, should try to go for similar styles.
Also, just a suggestion, but you could give the Redwood rangers smaller swords so they're more useful in close combat.

Now, two questions.

1. Is there a way to recruit Perisno troops without having to go village by village yourself? I can't send recruiters, and I don't know of another way.
2. What armour is used in the photos? Are they recruit able troops? Photo in question: Media.moddb.com

But, great work and I can't wait for the next version.

Concerning your second question, it's the Perisno Caped Champion armor. It's used on the Perisno Great Knight troops.

You, can send a recruiter if you own a town or a castle, although it often gets defeated. It's probably quicker to recruit them yourself.

Edit: Just realised you may not be able to request the recuiters to recruit perisno troops yet, my bad

This mod is incredibly awesome and I love it. I am a lover of fantasy mods and have played Pendor and all the good ones. I hope that this mod continues to be in development and never dies. It combines elements from fantasy and medieval themes and even has a flaming sword which is incredibly well done! I have only been playing 0.52 for a while but I am in love with it as it is so amazing. Some people, like the guy who rated it a 1 because of not being able to play as an elf, seem to forget that this…
