I recently burnt out while modding video games and am just tired of doing it, it became boring and very taxing on myself after years. I always came to walls most of the time I tried to do anything and I just gave up after trying to get the music working for HOTD warband, I did everything right and still it didn't work so I didn't even bother releasing it. I did though for the M&B version but not for warband because I didn't even have the game installed and sorry to say but at that stage I didn't give two shits.

I don't think I will ever mod again and I don't plan to, I just wanted to make this clear but for those interested I have moved onto something more constructive. I needed to occupy my time with something so I started researching how to translate Japanese video games into English. After getting help for more than I week I started to make progress and fully understand the process of the trade, I am a fan of Magic Knight Rayearth and want to play the games but sadly most of them weren't released outside of Japan so I am taking it upon myself to translate every single one of them. It is myself and Niiri on moddb who is translating the game, I asked him for help since I can't read Japanese, he does a rough translation into English which I 100% of the time rewrite but he is still crucial in the process.

I haven't gotten the response I wanted to on Romhacking but in due time I hope more people take notice and get interested. This is what I am moving onto from modding and I actually enjoy translating this game unlike what happened to myself at modding. I first wanted to translate Magic Knight Rayearth 2nd: The Missing Colors as I thought it was a game based on the second season of the anime but sadly it has it's own story separate from anything else so no Nova...... grrr. Anyhow so far I have roughly translated around 50-60% of the game so progress is going really well, I made a release of the first third of the game nearly a week ago so if your interested please check it out on my blog. I am also interested in what you guys think as just because I won't be modding doesn't mean I won't be hanging around Moddb so what do you think.

Thanks, im going to be adding more locations and lords to the mod to try and make it more intense with the factions fighting each other. Looking forward to the feedback, the mod should run fine since I fixed the resolution of the textures to proper sizes.

Yep, it was great idea to add lower res textures, cause now I can play 1920 x 1080 resolution and I don't have any crashes so I'm so thankful you can't even imagine ;)

Now some feedback's advices:

1) When the game starts, wars between faction are still randomly chosen. I think you should set it because it looks funny when I start game and "Tokyo Zombies are at war with none". It happens very often and just don't fit. I think Zombies should be at war with every other faction since begin of game.

2) I'm thinking a lot about gun's ammunition in game. You create nice, new icon of box pistol 30 shots. But why this same PISTOL ammunition works with shotguns and rifles? If you could, please made different type of ammunition for rifles because it don't fit well when I see rifles are shooting with pistol ammunition. And maybe you should create skills of Rifles and Pistols apart like in other mods (for example, 1866 Western Mod, Gabrilduro's mods on Warband and other mods with guns. Inside them, pistols and rifles have their skills of using apart)

3) Arena Fights. I noticed the NPC's and enemies have often problems with enter to the main hall. There are 4 rooms arround and enemies too often don't enter main hall. They stay inside rooms and run arround, couldn't find any way to go outside small room. Yep, it depends of bot's AI. But if you could just make the doors more wide (I mean to make them more open) maybe bots wouldn't have so much problems with enter to main hall.

4) Remove crossbow skills okay?

5) Freddy Krueger should have claws :3 If you are able to make claws for him it would be so awesome. (Btw I think I saw once claws as weapon in mod ROTK {romance of the three kingdoms).

Yea sorry about this but you can't make factions be at war at the start since it's randomized, nothing I can do about that but I wish I could. Im guessing the way other mods did the pistol and shotgun ammo was making replacing bows and crossbows with them, I'll look into that but for the moment it will just be one universal ammo.

The problem with the arena is the ai, I'll move the spawn points closer to the center so they'll not run into walls as much. I'll just leave the crossbows skill as there's no real need to remove it, there may not be a need for it but the bow one is still there as some survivalists use them. I just added freddy krueger in without much thinking so I'll make a weapon for him sooner or later. Thanks for your feedback.

It's got to do with the game crashing due to what's on screen such as the overall poly on the screen as the modern locations and units have more poly when compared to native which causes strain when playing.

Make sure all graphic setting are down to bottom, this type of crash relate's to your graphics card as M&B doesn't have the best compatibility. It works fine on my pc and I've got 1gb ram and 3.2 ghz so if you have more it should work fine and not crash.

Don't worry as im re-compressing alot of the mods textures, just turned 155mb into 35mb so it should run much faster now. I'll upload it today or tomorrow so hopefully the crashes should stop.

probably the best zombie mod for original mnb, truly amazing art/ modelling skills there, one man's work!.

anyone who enjoy watching the anime should play this.
