Hostile Orbit is a scifi themed Half-Life 2 mod developed for the new Source engine made by Valve. The mod is featuring a Zero G gravity system, this will make it possible to move in any direction.
Because of the zero gravity environment you will be able to frag your enemies while running up or down, or across a wall, or even ceiling! Our goal is to make the mod fun and exciting for all people.
We plan to create a highly competive multiplayer experience

Hi everyone,
Hostile Orbit has been hacked! – by an entity known as Jason (forgot to leave his home address).
We would like to announce that while we did lose all of posts in our forum, we have done a recount,
and, all of our megahurtz remain unstoleded.
Our logs do however contain “Jason’s” IP address, so any server admins looking to expand their banned list,
Just let me know.
We should be back on our feet and wall walking through our new secure forum in no time!
Today’s screenshots have naturally been delayed by this matter.

We have a strong and talented team - I have a good feeling that this mod is here to stay.

We will probably have some weapons that will push you around when shot while floating - possibly for balance reasons - but we also dont want to make people sick everytime they fire a weapon. Its something we will need to test and develop a system for. Also depeding on what team you are on 50-70% of the time you will be standing on a surface where the recoil won't push you as your magnetic boots will compensate.
Oh and we have a new SMG render in the gallery - thanks to General Yoda :) . As you can see he did an excellent job of working from the concept.
I just hope that if you guys make it zero gravity, that it makes more sense in game physics than from similar games I've seen. When you fire a gun will it propel you backwards?
