Unlimited_X MOD is a modification based on Homeworld 2. It will set up a new world for the players - new storyline and background infomation, new races, new maps and new effects.. etc. UXMOD will just has a develop team of one moder. It's somehow a "private" mod containing the moder's imagination.
Some screenshots of the Bentusi Battleship in FX. The UX version is coming soon:)
Well these are the secondary weapons (this ss is an earlier layout, now their positions are changed in FX).

great worke !!
That is too cool!
I always thought that 9ccN never shared their models with other mods. This was the one reason I didn't like the FX mod. There were some mods out there that would have been greatly improved with FX races/ships.
Thats true according to me their Taiidan is the closest to the original Taiidan, the old HW galaxy could be recreated in HW2 with inspiration from the FX mod's Taiidan, the Kushan could be made in a very similar way.
There's nothing wrong about mods that don't share their work.
I agree. Exchanging (or sharing) units is good, but if every mod has the very same model, surely we'll feel tired of that. We don't abolish sharing models, but I would like to see that each mod has their own unique design and units.
Indeed, if those models were universal, then no modding group or singular modder would have any chance at being noticed from the rest of the crowd. At the rate which 9ccN seems to crunch out models, it would be pleasant to see them sharing the models and ideas that they rejected with the rest of the Diiamid — I mean, the rest of the Homeworld series' modding community. Perhaps some Kiith — ehm... modder... would have a stroke of genius and figure out a way to make that rejected idea work. Thus any concepts or ideas that were unwanted by the FX team but had been miraculously resurrected could be made available to the whole community as a sort of "Salvaged Ideas Repository."
Yeah I gess your right. I would have liked to see the FX Taiidani and kadashi setup in other mods though.
Anyway, Can't wait for the next release! keep up the good work.
