The goal of this mod is to bring back the units from the original Homeworld into the Homeworld 2 engine, with high quality texture and polycount detail. The campaign and animatics from the original game will also be included.

Hi everyone,

I've been the spokesman of our mod and have been publishing news and comments here. This has happened informally as for most of us modding has been a hobby. I have set new projects with new goals and although I'm always willing to help JK, Moleman and Krnt, I won't be publishing things in the name of HWR. So, no fights, nor vanities, just coherence.

To be honest, you don't loose anything, once I am the less skilled in the team. I just brought this up in the case you notice any new spokesman. HWR has a lot of things done and to be done, but it will be brought by somebody else. Also, at the moment HWR is the mod far ahead of any other concerning HW universe in terms of content. Not because "we are better" and all these vanities, but because most modders are in an interval, waiting for Gearbox and their new technology.

Talking about that, the "new-renderer" statement is powerful, hã? You might not think so, but I've been noticing "old" modders dusting off some ideas, so we should expect good news in the future, not only those brought by Gearbox.

The Raider Carrier's speed boost in the PTV mod but as something that is always turned on, can't be shut down and only depletes according to the distance traveled, flying 1 km take a certain amount of fuel weather you fly fast or slow. By the way you should also increase the amount of fuel being used because the Raider Carrier depletes everything way to fast to be useful to fighters.
Regular defense fields has a time they run on, this would run on the distance the squadron travels.

Because HW1 doesn't use HW2 shields you could remove the shield turned on sound and replace the shield turned off sound with the No fuel left speech from HW1 and add the speech from HW that says that the fuel is almost depleted.

The Taiidan defense field frigate has the shield turned on all the time but only prevents projectiles from damaging ships within a certain radius.

I do not recommend this next thing but if you really can't make the fuel as I suggested try this out, or at-least if you aren't going to make the fuel burn as I suggested yet you can try out this too.
