The goal of this mod is to bring back the units from the original Homeworld into the Homeworld 2 engine, with high quality texture and polycount detail. The campaign and animatics from the original game will also be included.

I really appreciate any input that is given to help us improve in future releases, and what its better that gameplay footage with commentary. This time Mister_Meh, have offered us some very interesting footage showing us some important bugs that we didn't noticed before. Have fun watching!

I've got a question though, will the Heavy Cruisers actually be four times larger than the Destroyers? In the Homeworld Wiki it said that but in-game the HC's are vaguely the same size as the Destroyers...at least that's what I think.

I don't think so, we want it to be as similar as HW1 as possible, but maybe in a future expansion of this mod.

Most of us (in the team) want to do things like that, but first we must this right.

I like this stance. I have seen modding teams geting way off track before their first release just by discussing what new stuff they could implement. Some people are unable to draw a line and end up straying from their orginial goal, which can be a strain for your team.

Also, if you are done with re-implementing the units and game mechanics as closely to the original as possible that leaves you with the opportunity to make a cut and put your enhanced version, if you make any, as its own gamemode so players may choose themselves whether they want to play "vanilla" or "enhanced".

Personally I'm looking forward to both alternatives, especially if the final product looks anything like in your screenshots.
