The goal of this mod is to bring back the units from the original Homeworld into the Homeworld 2 engine, with high quality texture and polycount detail. The campaign and animatics from the original game will also be included.
In HW1 managing ships could easily become more complicated than expected, and when using HW1 unitcaps on HW2 things can get messy too, the dominant use of Corvettes and fighters can make things complicated and more if using default HW2 TOI (Tactical Overlay Interface) and selection distances, we have increased those and also rendering and LODs distances to match better in nowdays resolution and screen sizes, to help you manage the battle from afar, with or without Sensors Manager.
Still needs more tweaking though.
Thank goodness it can be toggled on and off... but... I thought there were three toggles? Off, On within a certain distance, and (always) On.
Yeah is nice for it to be toggled, but bet you are going to need it, HW1 ships are very difficult to see, and yeah those were 3, the second one being the most useful and less intrusive, and its more like from a certain distance onwards.
