But there were no Dustwars to be found on the intertubes so I had to resort around my old semi-crashed HD and see if Dustwars is still there. And luckily some of it was. And since it's not on the internets I thought why the hell shouldn't I reupload it?
And here they are, an early, almost fully ship featured alpha and early minmod:

I couldn't find the later minimod (it had some really cool things like PDSes on bombers and frigates, space stations (okay, armed asteroids, but still) and stuff. This is the release I mean. If anyone has it perchance I would greatly appreciate sharing so I can reupload it here too.

Yes, I mean rendered cutscenes with humanlike characters and other cool things.
I guess it's impossible in HW2 engine, but the idea is interesting. Acual plan is that the big ships in some mission will have preprogrammed event, which will launch other ships when the life level will reach critical. It will be used only for certain levels.

wow, someone's digged really deep into my brain!! here's what i think:
=-great, looking forward to the non-reversed storyline (the base storyline of HW2 is basicly reversed story from HW1)
=-i love this bit, the multigun-corvette is the one im missing the most from HW1, but please don't have the missle destroyer in there cos that'd just destroy the idea of subsystems
=-if not for the completed names in PDS mod, i'd be loving it to bits, but i can't because the names just puts me off, so PDS lite isjust what i'd like
=-HW2's music is somewhat poor, so looking forward to that
=-you mean like animations? like instead of loads reading out from text, just 1st stardand FPS-styled cutscene?
=-it sometimes makes you wonder: if there's a limited crew number on the MS, why when the cap-ships being distroyed, no one even tryed to escape? well, the lifeboats will put a new diamention to it (i hope, something like if you don't retrive lifeboats, the unit-cap will decrease? )

so, i am looking forward for another great mod to be realeased SOON ;)

and, the starting fleets are configured so that you may start the game with 2 fleets engaging, without any slow building process or whatsoever. The power of the republicans diminish when you employ battle tactics which emininates their forward firing arc advantages.
