This is it, a representation of what the final game will be like and the various ingame mechanics and ships. However there are some things which we have not been able to iron out by today so, please bear with us.
This release will be intended as a teaser on the ships and races available in the mod. Here's a description of what the mod contains:

it will feature a more dynamic and fluid attacking system whereby ships do not attack in static positions. battles will now be more realistic and dynamic due to the implementation of advanced behavioural scripts.
the support frigate is also in, which will bring back the familiar green glow of the HW1 support frigates, and will also intriduce a new tactic into the battlefield given that they are now the primary repair ships of the fleet.
ships have been allocated with primary, secondary and even tertiary weapon mounts to compensate for the diverse classes that the mod incorporates. thus you do not need to worry about entire shipboard arsenals emptying into a fighter cloud when destroyers are pounding your ship.
