Many additions to the game, new units, new features and better graphical aspect, but the more important improvements have been done on stability, gameplay and performance.
Every duplicate ship/subsystem have been removed, redundant functions cleaned, lagging scripts revisited, a lot of bugs fixed.

The game has been balanced to reach the better space battle experience.
I hope you enjoy all this work!

About the future of Complex, considering that Gearbox is working on the new Homeworld, this release is the last one for Homeworld 2, not the last one for Complex.
If the new engine will be great the new Complex will be on the way.

I dont like vaygar having progenitor ships at all, so the dreadnaught were the first rreal ship it liked to see on their site. I think the complex team shouldn t be lazy just putting in the progenitors and then don t balance the sites. I would prefer to see the command fortress as something like a caputble thing on the map itself, the play who captures it first will have an huge advantage, as a static defense point. I also don t like the vortex, the relic forums spread out with great ideas for bigger higarrian bs`s, and instead of using on of these models, the just implent a simple disk with an unrealistic amount of cannons on it. That isn t really the same calitty level they had add 5.5. I dont mean that this mod is bad, but i d like too see something more than this.

I spent the whole night trying to find a damn homeworld 2 big editor and when i finally found one ( sparky's bla bla ) it just opens the big file but i can't edit **** in it cause all other files have different extensions. Pls give me some hope ...

Man, have you already played with the vaygr or are you simply an idiot?
They don't have enogh weapon subsystems. Look at the command fortress: there are no missle launchers and no nuclear bomb launcher-like subsystems.
The damage of the trinity cannons should be bigger too.

The dreadnaught is not a ship for the close range battlefront. If you use it for attacking heavy capital ships from a huge range than you'll see that it is worth the money.
The vaygr race needs a lot of weapon subsystems: I could beat 3 fully upgraded battlecruisers and 2 destroyers with only one vortex!!!
Take a look at the missle battery of the vaygr battlecruiser: "anti fighter weapon"... I think that this is a baaaad joke.
If the trinity canon of the bc would be 4 or 5 times stronger than now and if the missles were much stonger, than there could be a chance to beat a vortex.It could be quite useful to put a drive system on the bc than:)
The battleship is good enogh but a rapid sweeper like subsibstem is needed (and a health improving of 15-20%)
And the command fortress... Its simply too weak-> more missles and mines
And why is the armor of all vaygr ships so good against ion canons???

First, why do the Higarans have a lot more weapon subsystems than the vaygr? i mean a fully ugraded and armed higaran mothership can take on pretty much anything, but the fully armed/upgraded vaygr flagship can just take on a destroyer!. and the Command Fortress, whilst really cool, needs to be more balanced. i mean, they cost the same for both sides, but the higaran one is so much better. more powerful weapons, and the defense facility does more for you. the vaygr CF needs mors guns. why doesnt it have missiles? the vayge seem to be a predominatly missiles-based force
aparty from that, its really good!!
