Complex is a free advanced game modification based on Relic Entertainment's Homeworld 2 game engine, free of any business directive, developed with passion and hard work, for experienced RTS players only.
In a world of simplified games often under pressure to do well commercially, our challenge has been to create this ambitious project, for those who want more from a modern videogame.
Complex series, actually counts more then 5.000.000 downloads and up to 3000 contacts per days.

Many additions to the game, new units, new features and better graphical aspect, but the more important improvements have been done on stability, gameplay and performance.
Every duplicate ship/subsystem have been removed, redundant functions cleaned, lagging scripts revisited, a lot of bugs fixed.

The game has been balanced to reach the better space battle experience.
I hope you enjoy all this work!

Full LOG here.

About the future of Complex, considering that Gearbox is working on the new Homeworld, this release is the last one for Homeworld 2, not the last one for Complex.
If the new engine will be great the new Complex will be on the way.

Thanks to everyone who's following Complex for so long time, Beghins.

Hey Genius, you see so far... but let numbers decide what's crappy and what's not; and stand up, life is short but it's not so bad...

nothing more than a attempt to make money off a mod...effectively bundling spam and advertisement sites with downloads of a mod.
a cheap and rather transparent attempt to make money off a mod and software that isnt fully his IP

I believe that this policy you are attempting to use on your mod is a bit..extreme? I mean, thats kind of cold blooded man. I dont want to register at your forums to download. Whats the point? its just going to generate a lot of blank accounts that are never going to be used. Plus i want to check that SRI got credit for the Sword Cruiser modifications that I gave you to use. I Strongly Suggest tht you release this version without strings attached or your going to have to remove my version of the crossbow and use axel's stock version.

sounds like he doesnt want his mod listed here, and wants people to join his forums to get it
it isnt a coincidence that his forums are rife with advertisements and spam
so if he doesnt want it mirrored here, take it off
hurting no one but himself in the long run

Hey guys,

Just thought I would chime in here. 'Gaming' the system and making users submit votes that are not reflective of their true opinions is frowned upon. As for the problem of not mirroring the download here on ModDB, it is unfortunate but ultimately up to the creator of the mod to do as he/she wishes. By not keeping a full and up-to-date profile on ModDB, mods lose out on possible additional coverage like reviews/previews/interviews that make it to the front page. This year's MOTY awards will also require complete profiles to be considered as a finalist - no matter how many votes. The system we have in place here is for the benefit of all gamers and developers. Those who use it to its fullest potential stand achieve the largest userbase possible for their creations.

here noone force noone to vote for nothing, there's only a request to vote on ModDB because this is one of the major diffusion threads for Complex.
About mirroring as you've typed it depends by my wish, so at the moment Complex it's only for registered members at complex.mastertopforum.com.
About ModDB awards, be careful, because last 1-2 years your winning mod (I'm speaking about Homeworld) was a video and some models put randomly into the engine (no polemics please, I've no spent the name), I think Complex is another thing and you should consider it independently from how complete is the site on ModDB.
Regards, Beghins.

there is no difference between complex and other mods and it is not deserving of any special consideration over any other mods or should not be exempt from the full profile requirements
if it isnt mirrored here, then it should not even be considered for mod of the year

This year's MOTY will change things up so provide more quality mods more exposure. Again, the whole purpose of offering mod profiles that offer galleries, news updates and downloads it to make it as easy as possible for users to obtain info and get the mods they want. At the same time, we can offer modders a large consolidated audience to show off their creations to. By restricting downloads to your mod, you are seriously limiting the amount of people who could be enjoying your work.

Complex is only for registered members at complex.mastertopforum.com, and you should not be allowed to mirror it here, but you've done it.
Is there a moderator at ModDB?
About your prblem of forcing (and only your) I just have answered.
If you don't want to be forced, simply:
-don't join the Complex forum;
-don't download Complex;
-don't vote for Complex;
-play other, if you want.
And you will fix your problems of forcing.
