It's fun mod, but there seems to be a glitch. Or more like bug. At some point in game, my mother just loses its health and then goes "boom" saying "taking enemy fire," obviously when there's no enemy around my base. Maintence cost? Hell no. I was 14000/14000 full and I was still researching a lot and was building ships. Why is this happenening? I tried 4 times restarting or even changing the map, which doesn't seem to be taking any effects, but mothership will just go down. Also, after it blows up, I still can't build any kind of mothership things, such as Shipyard. (I had all the required resources in RUs and crews and officers and research trees)
oh...uh...so I shouldn't build evacuation crew thing? I thought that's like passive thing...that it'll give me the crews when it is "actually" attacked later in game. hmmm, gotta retry it without building emergency crew
I have had something similar happen. last time it happened, i was trying out the Gunj-whatever formation with the monthership, the shipyard, and the crew and research ships. Well, when I was docking the mothership, all of a sudden, it said "taking enemy fire" and the mothership went down to about 50-60% hull integrity immediately without any enemy fire. The shipyard was damaged to in the exact same way at the exact same time. It repaired, of course, but it was kinda annoying...
how do I get it to work? what should I add in the schortcut?
Add -mod modname to the target

You have to capture the mines with a marine / infiltrator frigate before you can use it i think

Are you building the evacuation cell for the MS when it goes boom? That automatically self destructs a ship and gives you back its crew.
