Appareantly it was my mistake, I double checked, I'm sorry :p
But I did notice a weird thing with Movers. They were nigh indestructible? Even with the anti mover weapon upgrade 20 Torpedo frigates take a long time killing a few Movers. Their armor value was decreasing as they took shots instead of losing health. Only at 4000 did they start losing health on their health bar?

Also, there is something strange with the heavy ion cannon the mothership can use. Once you have it, next mission it says its not constructable, yet you can still see and use the ion cannon on the ship. And when do you unlock the use of battlecruisers? I'm at level 12 now and my Mothership dies before my entire fleet can even launch due to sheer fire power I encounter xD

If you are at level 12 and you still don't have a Battlecruiser, you are dead bro... (When I get to level 12, I already have 2 Battleships)

To build Battlecruisers, you need:
Captain rank (built on your Crew Station)
Science Division on your Research Station
Advanced Capital Ship Production Facility on your Shipyard (if you have a Battle Shipyard, you can only build Battlecruisers but not research it!)
Battlecruiser Chassis Technology
3 Officers
30 Crew members

What's your current military rank in mission 12? I think you should be able to reach the Fleet Admiral rank well before mission 12.

About the Heavy Ion Cannon on Mothership: yeah, I noticed that bug, I didn't fix it because it doesn't affect the game play, does it?

Let me tell you a little trick: build 10 Ion Cannon Frigates, upgrade them with Shield-Penetrating Beams, and they can easily kill those Movers even without anti-Mover technology! :D

PS: You will learn to love Mission 12 actually, because this is the last mission where you can farm so easily. XD

Don't rush to complete the objectives, just set up your defense line using shielded heavy capital ships, and start farming -- collecting resources, researching technologies, building subsystems, enabling Strategic Formation (with your Strategic Shipyard) to upgrade your Mothership to Adv. Pride of Hiigara, and so on...

I still have the shipyard the game gave me (Nabaal) so I think that's why i dont get battlecruisers... gonna try to fix that on a previous level since I do have Fleet admiral rank by far.

No, Shipyard Nabaal should be able to produce Battlecruiser class vessels. Have you researched the Battlecruiser technology? If you have, you should be able to produce it. If you can't research the Battlecruiser technology, check if your Research Station has the Science Division and whether your Crew Station has the Captain Rank.
