To install the mod, take the file labeled Assembly-CSharp.dll and place it inside your Managed folder, found in:
Steam\steamapps\common\Hollow Knight\hollow_knight_Data\Managed
You need to replace the Assembly-CSharp.dll file that is already in there. It is advised that you rename the old one to Assembly-CSharp-Vanilla, so you can revert back to the old version.

Next, to install the graphics that accompany the mod, place the resources.assets folder inside your hollow_knight_Data folder, found in:
Steam\steamapps\common\Hollow Knight\hollow_knight_Data\
You need to replace the resources.assets file that is already in there. It is advised that you rename the old one to resources-Vanilla, so you can revert back to the old version.

Glass Soul mode is a hardmode that makes it so that taking any amount of damage kills the player. To compensate for this, the player is given an extra charm notch and increased nail damage. Glass Soul mode can be combined with Steel Soul mode for the ultimate Hollow Knight experience. Dream bosses can be fought again after they are defeated, and Warrior Ghosts will respawn infinitely after surpassing 2400 dream essence.
You must create a new character to get the bonus charm notch!
Nail damage is boosted by your current number of masks minus two, meaning charms that increase health still have a use in this mod.

- Troubleshooting -

When Hollow Knight updates, the mod will likely stop working. To prevent this from happening, go offline on Steam and make sure auto-updates are off. In the event that the game does update, seek the latest version of the mod. Your save file will remain.

I've been hoping to get into Hollow Knight modding and make my own mod, likely starting out with a custom difficulty in the form of an easy mode. Are there any tutorials on making Hollow Knight mods, or should I simply extract the mod's DLL file and examine it to learn from it? Or, someone already accustomed with modding Hollow Knight could just make an easy mode mod instead if it's as simple as changing a few damage values like Glass Soul does or base health vessel numbers.
