1.Half Life2-Infiltration is based technically on the original game Half Life2 from valve. The modification continues the story of the Shooter and offers an alternative action strand. You can integrate Infiltration in the HL2-storyline but it does not start at a certain point in the known story. Because the Mod is designed by hobby-designers, it will be a free download and you will be able to load it at our page.
2.Story. Complete brain control in form of an implanted chip - a direful weapon for the Combine. Nearly all human beeings in City 10 are subject already either to complete control or succumbed to the consequences of the radiation. The radiation is a product of the reactors, those secure the constant functionality of the chips. The last rebels are in a situation almost offering no prospects. Absolute control and the stop of the "normal" social life let a complete city collapse to itself. The craving for power and the control craze of the Combine are now exclusively directed against the rebellion, while the remaining population sinks in chaos. Selected civilians serve thus against their own will the regime of the occupying force. To fight against the own people may be bitter, but what if even your closest familiar ones are used in order to kill you? Save your friends from the control of the Combine but plan you. They will not hesitate an instant to extinguish you!
3.What is new in HL2-Infiltration? The own story of the Mod leads the player through completely new provided locations. Own textures and environments provide a dark atmosphere. New weapons support the combat experience and the reunion of well-known characters let the Half-Life Feeling arise.

Hi,
you can download the new version 1.3.1 of Infiltration (english) now here:
I fixed lots of (mapping-)bugs and increased the level of detail in some maps.
As there were so many bugs I had to fix, I did not create a patch file, because it would be as large as the complete mod file.
Have fun.

I don't know if this should be going in the comments, but I don't know where else to put this:
When I extracted 1.2 with winrar, I got these errors:
"! G:\Installers 2\InfiltrationNEWv1.2full_en.rar: CRC failed in Infiltration\expressions\humans\group02\female_03\phonemes\4bc32b8b.bmp. The file is corrupt
! G:\Installers 2\InfiltrationNEWv1.2full_en.rar: Unexpected end of archive"
The resulting extracted folder only contains the folders "bin," "cfg," "download lists," and "expressions."
And two files: "demoheader.tmp" and "detail.vbsp." The mod doesn't show up in Steam.
The .rar file was corrupted; half of the mod didn't extract for some reason, and it didn't show up in Steam. I'll try a different mirror?
Now I start downloading it! :)
Yes its because the strider kill him.. Im afraid you will have to restart it over and over until he survives long enough to explode the ground.. :/
Hi, the street should be exploded by a rebel so that you can reach the buggy.
I'm kind of stuck, I can't figure out what I'm suppose to do in map where the stider is walking around
I can see the buggy on a lower level due to mapping errors, but how do I get to it...
Any help?
Hmmm, I don't or hear see a rebel, maybe the strider killed him?
I'll try again from an earlier save.
lol yea it made me laugh so much when he gave me the "surprise"! XD
I though he was going to give me the super gravity gun (because the gravity gun you find earlier in the mod, and because he was so much proud of it) and then.. lol Well.. im not going to say whats the surprise for those who did not played the mod yet, so the players can laugh just like i did lol
Just finished the mod. I gave it a 9-8-7.
Graphics-Probably the most detailed in a HL2 SP mod so far. Outstanding job on the maps!
Sound- Great use of ambience. The sound and the detailed environments sometimes made me feel like the mod was bigger than the player, which is something you rarely see in mods.
Gameplay- I won't list all the bugs. I'm sure everyone else has mentioned them. The BIGGEST problem for me was the fact that some areas that looked BEAUTIFUL were lacking LIGHT SOURCES and you just could not see where to to go. I often had to restart and restart again and just run like heck around that helicoter part looking for the camoflauged combine door. The other problem was those DARN ELEVATORS in the last level! Lol! Also, more ammo and health would have made the game more enjoyable. There are alot of mods that suffer from not having enough health to keep the player alive. It's very simple: If I can't stay alive then I can't enjoy your mod and therefor the gameplay turn into a simple challenge of finding supplies and not enjoying the creativity of the maps. I know this sounds boring but you can't forget to leave health for the player. I don't need to name off the bugs as that is just more complaints than a modder who spent time and energy on a non-profit game needs and plus most were very obvious anyways.
Please! ADD MUSIC!!!! Especially during the driving part!!!! Why you wouldn't make good use of HL2's awesome techno tracks is beyond me as they make SP mods alot of fun. (For me anyways.)
>>> (Spoiler) .............The buggy drive was AWESOME!!!!!!! It must have been a real challenge to maintain that level of detail during that driving map the whole way. Also, the lighting was very nice! There were some really creative parts throughout this entire mod. My fav. parts were the buggy drive, the nova prospekt-like maps, the city maps, and the rebel base. Personally, I thought that the mod could have been split into 2 mods.
Bugs aside, there were alot of things this mod could have included to help itself out like music tracks, a variety of npcs, and more weapons. (Kliener's "surprise" turned out to be an utter dissapointment for me) Along with a few lights just to show the player where to go. What this mod DOES do is maintain creativity and detail in most of the maps as well as show off a nice storyline which was presented in an interesting way. I need to get my foot out of my mouth so I will stop my rambling now. I would give this mod a 9.0 because with so much hard work put into the maps and the cutscenes, plus the custom content, you just can't give it anything less.
I'm sorry but this mod needs and update BAD. You know what I mean. Until then, I am taking a little break from this otherwise awesome mod.
