Welcome to the first episode of the weekly chunk. To make updates easier, I have decided to make use of this news option on ModDB to create a weekly update for my mod project, Hjermskiir. This will make it easier for me to express both positives and negatives, along with updates, questions and difficulties.
In this first episode, since the last notable episode on my YouTube channel 'TCG Gaming', lots has been done to help improve the quality of the cities, including cluttering, main gates and reasonable architectural choices. This has helped when generating LOD files for the world map and distant rendering, and it has also helped keep a consistent, lore-friendly scheme for the mod.
Another notable change I can mention in this weekly chunk is the introduction of AI in the mod. Each NPC has a set of 3 AI packages by default: Work package, Recreation package and Sleep package. The work package involves using either an idle marker or a sandbox around an X marker, one of which is in each city. The Recreation package is a small package which only lasts a couple of in-game hours, and it allows the NPC to sit on chairs, read, cook, eat and generally relax. The sleep package is self explanatory, since it allows the NPCs to sleep.
That's all that can be mentioned for this week's weekly chunk. The next episodes will be much more detailed and in-depth on the development of Hjermskiir, as development is going to start speeding up.
