This mod shows the Imperial Guard at its essence: Lot of manpower and big tanks. Nearly every unit of the original Imperial Guard is included: From conscripts to special weapons squats and storm troopers, from the sentinel over griffon, hellhound to the big Leman Russ Demolisher tank. And a giant special weapon awaits to send fear to your foes.
It just plays very unique, you can't set on clasic tactics and have to watch your troops closely.

i have thinked that this mod is dead!
Ugh, listen to what youre saying, Winter Assault is a GAME made by a MULTI-MILIION DOLLAR company, and this is a small-modification! They arent even in the same category.
but winter asault DOES kick its ass......:evil:
You know, you guys arent bieng very considerate or supportive about this mod, going around yelling Steel Legions is Better! isnt exactly going to help the modding team morale. besides its a mod how could you possibly compare a mod with the Winter Assault Expansion pak????? it seems fine, how about some screen-shots?
As fneep said, look at the homepage, just because they have not updated it here in a long time does not mean it is dead.
