Hello SCP-173-Neighbor mod. Early access version 0.31.
Installation:
Extract "Hello SCP-173-Neighbor V0.31.zip" into the Hello Neighbor plugins folder. Before starting, add an input under Project Settings called "Blink". Once that's done, open the level "MainMenu" under maps and play.
Changelog V0.31
-Minor fix to neighbor so he continues to be aggressive around the house after killing the player the first time.
-Removed print string meant for debug mode.
Changelog V0.3
-Significant AI improvements regarding pathing towards player. He now dynamically finds paths and follows them while closing in on the player, and no longer temporarily disappears when no path can be found.
-Many tweaks and improvements to level design, difficulty settings, and other things.
-V0.3 should now properly start on a new save file, and continue to save stats at the end of a game. V0.21 had mismatching Save Slots that prevented the stats from showing on the main menu for total deaths.
-New AI no longer requires tinkering with navmesh, so Initial Setup has been reduced to simply adding an input called "Blink"
Known issue I've experienced a couple times:
If you find yourself starting a new play-through, but the map didn't reset and all objects are still in the places they were last time you played, that means the original Hello Neighbor somehow triggered a save game. You can do this to fix it:
-While in-game, press "0" to bring up original Hello Neighbor menu screen
-Navigate to "New Game" to start a new game (opens up intro sequence to original game)
-Escape out and re-open MainMenu level
This will reset all objects in the level.
How do you manually blink? I can't figure it out
Some settings must be configured beforehand. Please check out the Setup Instructions video on the mod page to get it up and running properly.
