The Heirs to Byzantium:The Purple Phoenix Rises! is a massive overhaul for the marginalised(by Paradox)country of Hellas.Continuing the work of the now discontinued Heirs to Byzantium mod by the splendid Hiraeth(by whom I have been given permission to expand on),the mod aims to provide the player with the ability to experience the alternative history scenario,speculated by many historians,a Hellenic victory at the battle of Smyrna during the Greco-Turkish War of 1919–1922! Offering a vast amount of new events,a re-balanced National Focus with over 100+ foci,both historical and ahistorical courses to choose from and many other features,this mod has nothing to lose,even by the official DLCs. !The Purple Phoenix has risen and its fate is in your very hands!

Real life matters along with University Exams and other projects I am currently working on have limited the available time in which I can further develop my mod. However,this does not mean that work is not being done. Seeing that the current is the most stable of all, I think it is viable that I continue to expand its features, always based upon your recommendations.

As you can see in the image above,flavor events will fire up whenever you capture an important city/Victory Point,like London or Berlin. Country specific events for both Greece and Turkey have been made.
New Country:Cyprus
In order to spice-up the Greco-Britsih relationships,and add some historical plausibility,Cyprus starts as a British protectorate. To maintain compability with other mods,no history files are edited. Instead,the country itself is created through a hidden event at the start of each game. Depending on your choices,you can even reunite Cyprus with Greece,stay loyal to the British Empire or take command of the country itself on your hands!
Further optimization of the mod National Trees:
As promised,more choices are added to both Greek and Turkish National Trees. However,a complete overhaul of the Turkish tree will follow the completion of the Greek Tree,which is one of the main targets for the next build. Of course,this does not mean it gets left behind.
As Paradox has uploaded a Dev-Diary that decisions from HOI 3 are added along with more other new features, I think it is wise to wait so the new build can take advantage of them.

I think it goes without saying,given that as of today,Paradox has released a proper Greece DLC,this mod has been concluded.
If it is of use to anyone,either the assets or as a basis,feel free to utilise as you seem fit.

Question so it says that Cyprus is a British Dominion. But it isn't. I was wanting to play as them and I cant. I even waited until 1938 as Britain if maybe you get a choice but It didn't do anything
I am sorry if I was misunderstood. Cyprus will be playable in the next version. I would release it now,but I have ceased development until the next HOI IV DLC is released in Macrh. I guarantee you however,the new nation works perfectly.
If you need a voice actor, I would be willing to do some lines.
