***Please Note: this version is NOT supported and will not work with your copy of the game, wait for the next version to come out!*** Change log: This...
I have a problem, I'm playing as Venezuela and when I try to land in enemy territory, nothing happens, the same thing happens when I want to put a plane into an ally airport.
I have access to mexico (it was hard) but I can not lay a ship or an aircraft at their bases.
What exactly happens when you try to put land/air units at an airfield/naval base? A tooltip should tell you why you cannot do it...
absolutely nothing, not stored
I didn't encounter this issue, is the "rebase" option available? Make sure you send air units to air bases and not naval bases.
This might also be happening due to lack of infrastructure. An issue that will be fixed in Beta 5.
I have access to other countries but that option is not available. It happens with boats and planes
You'll have to wait for Beta 5, I believe you won't encounter this issue with it.
When can we expect the beta 5? I am really excited!
No release date has been announced yet.
Liquid Armor in 2005? Powered Exoskeleton in 2010? And Medical Nanorobots in 2012? These seem a little absurd, along with the mechs at the start of the game. I'm all for having them in the endgame, but its slightly early for them to be introduced into the game, no?
I feel like it would be more satisfying if you had generations of certain techs. Like fighter jets for example. Countries like Bangladesh should have 3rd gen aircraft while the US, Russia and China should have 5th gen fighters. They could then research 6th and even 7th gen aircraft. That way, lesser nations can actually develop real life tech that they don't have and hegemons can develop cool new tech. It would be strange to see a large, yet militarily backwards country like Brazil (which still uses F-5 fighter jets and Leopard 1's) catch up to the US in a few years due to a lack of potential research options.
Plus, I'm sure people would find it interesting if you make up your own future tech. It would be cool if the major power blocks had their own respective units. The US would have the XXX battle tank, while the EU, Russia, China etc. would have their own future models.
I apologize for the wall of text, but I thought I'd voice my thoughts.
Thank you for your feedback.
The dates that you see on the screenshots have not been adjusted and are in no way final, also please consider the fact that the mod is still (and will be in Beta 5) in beta stage... and that means that all of these numbers and techs aren't permanent.
These dates are the recommended dates to start the research on these techs... finishing that research can take a while and can last for several more years.
As for nation/alliance specific research and units maybe it will be included or maybe not. You'll just have to wait and see.
