Hearts of Iron 3 Modern Warfare puts you in the seat of government of any country during the years 2000 - 2020.

As the USA - spread democracy and build up your NATO coalition to avenge the 9.11 attacks.

As Russia - Show the world the meaning of the Russian spirit, push back NATO from your borders and establish yourself once again as a world superpower.

As China - spread the people's revolution as far as possible, show the USA who's boss.

By force or diplomacy, the path is yours to choose...

Liquid Armor in 2005? Powered Exoskeleton in 2010? And Medical Nanorobots in 2012? These seem a little absurd, along with the mechs at the start of the game. I'm all for having them in the endgame, but its slightly early for them to be introduced into the game, no?

I feel like it would be more satisfying if you had generations of certain techs. Like fighter jets for example. Countries like Bangladesh should have 3rd gen aircraft while the US, Russia and China should have 5th gen fighters. They could then research 6th and even 7th gen aircraft. That way, lesser nations can actually develop real life tech that they don't have and hegemons can develop cool new tech. It would be strange to see a large, yet militarily backwards country like Brazil (which still uses F-5 fighter jets and Leopard 1's) catch up to the US in a few years due to a lack of potential research options.

Plus, I'm sure people would find it interesting if you make up your own future tech. It would be cool if the major power blocks had their own respective units. The US would have the XXX battle tank, while the EU, Russia, China etc. would have their own future models.

I apologize for the wall of text, but I thought I'd voice my thoughts.

The settings file is your only option and it should work... make sure you edit the correct file which should be located at \Documents\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron III\MWM

You also have a setting there called "refreshRate" and its default is refreshRate=60

Not yet. Which I sincerely believe, if it is to be exist, The rebellion in Ukraine had to exist before it, as the effect that MH-17 "accident" done was on both the Rebels and Kiev government.

Hi, I am from India and I had a few suggestions:
1. The India and Pakistan clashes as an event.
2. The 26/11 attacks.
3. Will Somali pirates be there and will our navy be able to guard ships from them?
4. Can we import technology from other countries?
5. Will UN exist and whether troops from countries will go as UN expeditionary forces?
6. Will naval shore strikes with cruise missiles from ships be allowed?
7. Will the MH370 event be there?
8. Will the unit names be authentic like F-18, Su-30 etc.?
9. Will natural disasters be there?

I know you said not to make mention of EvW, but I think this might be a good idea, so please hear me out. In said game, historical decisions are handled slightly different. One of the most annoying issues HoI 3 has is that if there's a national decision you DON'T want to enact, it's going to stay in your notifications forever and you can't tell if you have gotten an new ones. In EvW, as soon as a decision is triggered, you get an event with options on what to do, I was thinking maybe this mod could do the same, for example, if I don't want to invade Iraq as the USA, I can enact the decision and an event will ask me weather to go ahead with the war or not to. Just a suggestion.
