Thats cool, will there be other OSN unrecognised states?
Well it depends on how much of a role they play, if they did not "shine" in the preriod the mod is set they wont be added... the less tags and provinces for the game to handle the better.

Yes.
Will it require it to be the exact date in 2014, or will the event randomly occur some time between 2012-2016 or something?
The events aren't in yet so that's not decided yet.

Donetsk and Lugansk PRs are now a confederation with a right of secession called "Federal state of Novorossiya". Also, there are possible rebellions in Kharkov, Odessa, Zaporozhie, Dnepropetrovsk, Uzhgorod (Zakarpatskaya Rus'), Sumy, Kherson, Nikolaev and Kiev. There is even a slight chance of whole Ukraine becoming such confederation of PRs.
How will the Ukrainian Civil war play in this mod? Will it be a lot of rebelling units, or will it be similar to the Spanish Civil War event in the original game? I would like to see that event play as about 4-10 provinces forming into Donetsk Peoples Republic, with the event playing that either Ukraine Reunites, or that the separatist regions secede into a Socialist Republic, with a reasonable drop in the relations with Europe and the US aimed at Russia. Possibly even an event for Russian intervention, that adds several units to the Rebels army, and allows Russia to send troops to fight in Ukraine.
