Hazard: The Plague - Hardcore Mode

Hardcore Mode is a new mode with new weapons, and more realistic elements.

1.New Weapons

Hazard has many weapons, but most are not varied. This mode has less weapons, but with greater variation between weapons. Each weapon will have specific properties that make it ideal in certain combat situations.

2.Realistic Player Character

You aren't superhuman anymore. With Hardcore mode, it is much harder to control recoil, player moves at realistic speeds and can only sprint short distances. A single scratch from a zombie will cause the player to die if an antidote is not found. As soon as a zombie hits the player, the player becomes infected and his health is drained at 1 hp/sec. Additional hits will not increase this rate, but will decrease player's health and reset the counter. First Aid kits can prolong your life once infected, but unless you find enough to survive 100 seconds, you will die. Antidotes are few and far between, so choose your battles wisely.

3.Survival-Horror Elements

While Hazard will always be an action game at heart, added elements make ammo conservation more important than ever. The new damage and infection system makes it necessary to run sometimes.

The respawning rate whit the zombies on survival IS HEELL CRAZY!

The collision error when you kill a zombie, there still collison in the 3 sec of the dying animation

Invinsible weapons. (weapons that appear in your inventory but you cant use when you pickup a backpack or bag of ammo/weapon)

Zombies that stack up and do LITTERALY NOTHING before you even act on them (huge exemple in the survival mode)

And i guess that it, i may start a trend about the bugs that i found.

(Sidenote: Yes, i know that your only 2 guys working on this. but there a dude, by himself, that is doing a HUGE project and it a little bit better. (He spend almost all is free-time in it.) im not trying to be rude. here the site:

Thanks for the comment. Input like this is extremely helpful since the mod is still in development. About the bugs you've found:

For the respawn rate of zombies, zombies have more reasonable health now so that with amount of zombies gameplay is more balanced.

After reading this comment I have fixed the collision bug so when a zombie dies it has no collision and wont block player or other NPCs.

For the fake weapons that show up in inventory (I like to call them ghost weapons): This is caused by increasing the amount of weapons possible in HL, in default HL there can be only 32 weapons including suit, in hazard this number has been increased to 127(The max for an 8 bit signed integer). We believe that these ghost weapons are caused by uninitialized memory, however we don't know how to fix the issue.

The stacking zombies where caused by an AI bug which has been fixed by now.

I've un-deleted this to reply to you. I have steam version working again but for some maps, drawing of zombies is buggy, for example sometimes zombies flicker in and out of view.

I will take a look at the issue. Hopefully it can be fixed. The problem may be caused by a compatibility issue, however.
