Having problems with a slow responsive or jumpy mouse ?
Then this post might help you out!

Recently I bought a new mouse, the Logitech G9x beside the fact that I felt really uncomfortable with the size of the mouse, it also responded with a slight but noticeable delay in some older Games, including Elite Force II. In fact the mouse was terribly slow while being inside the game options.

The precision of the mouse in newer games was great thou, so I went back to the store returned the mouse and I bought the G500 which had a familiar design. But I got the same issues there too, so I tried to update the Setpoint Software. Setpoint told me that it was up to date, even thou I installed it from CD and the latest version online was quite different compared to the version on the CD. Setpoint also didn't recognize my Logitech Keyboard...

How ever, after several tries to fix and update the Software, I decided to uninstall it, since I don't use the features of the Software anyway. After rebooting my PC the mouse started to work perfectly with the older games again. After a few tests I realized that I had the same kind of delay with my old MX518, when the Setpoint Software was installed, but it was barley noticeable with that mouse.

How ever, if you have the same issues, just try to update the Software or uninstall it and it should be fine again.

Yes, but there will be a mini edition in the future which works with unmodified maps, that would make < 10 MB download version of the mod, as the modified maps are only needed when you do host a dedicated Server which shall run stable for months.

also I noticed all the levels aboard the enterprise load correctly if you play the game in order, but why come you can't select them from the voting list without having to go to the level select map!?!?!

Because these levels are all the same, but just with different setup.
Using now MOM in the co-op mod that might be possible, but using the odenary callvote command, there is no way to load the same map with different scripted setup.

Some of the Information Gathering Missions (IGM) aboard the Enterprise are missing. Loading the same map with different setup made the scripts incredible confusing, and the mod adds its own bit of scripting, so the script limits are hit and these level-scripts won't compile and work just like that.

hey...one more question....Could you think you ever possibly create a Coop mod for Star Trek Voyager Elite Force??? I mean you've done a excellent job with Elite Force II so now how about going back to get Elite Force I and giving it the same good treatment?? :D i'd gladly love to help...it just seems that the only problem is that the Multiplayer(Holomatch) is different than the single player launcher for the game...isn't there anyone to combine the two!?!?! i mean the pak files for eliter forceI seems so much like II sooo can't you try??? i just wish you could sense to me the weapons in elite force I seem a bit more star trek like than in II

Star Trek Voyager Elite Force separates the Singleplayer from multiplayer, all the original scripts for the singleplayer would not work in multiplayer, unlike Star Trek Elite Force II.

The singleplayer maps would have to be made compatible to multiplayer, or the multiplayer part of the game would need to be heavily modified.

The best chance of success does the RPG-X team have, i just discovred that GSIO has written a comment there Moddb.com . I've been successfully working with GSIO before and he knows what he is doing.

There would be the need of at least 6 people who would willingly work on the project and at least 2 of them should have a extensive development skill set. Otherwise a Co-op mod for the game would be delayed for at least 2 or even 3 years.

There are no plans to add additional Models, since the Mod would require to be downloaded, which is out of question.
But you can use the Hazard Team Members, including Telsia and Jurot ;)

About the more levels, it's a lot of work to Translate a Mission into co-op, even with the mod offering hundreds of functions to make it happen faster and more secure.

oh ok..I understand now....I've got it all working except...how to fix this bug on Mission 1 or possibly on all of them...where you try and select to be a different character model besides Munro and it just switches you back to Munro secounds after you select to be that different model???

The Mod has Forced Models enabled on default, to prevent players using Chars which could irritate other players during the Missions, it's not a bug, it's a feature!

Cite from the FAQ:
HOW TO DISABLE FORCED MODELS?

Just set the following cvar to '1': coop_disForceModel

Unfortunately after typing ''coop_disForceModel 1'' in the console the game still reset with the messege that only hazard team member are alowd, Is there a new command or is there a way to delete the file that is blocking me from using other characters.
