For some reason I get an error message saying the DLL library is incorrect or something similar to that. I have 1.3.1 patch installed. That kind of error is something you get when the version of the game the mod was compiled from doesn't match the version of the game the user is running but your mod says it's for 1.3.1. Any idea what could be wrong?

Can you copy-paste the message here (or PM)?

Hq2 is indeed meant to work with patch 1.3.1.
To make sure you have the patch correctly installed launch D3 and check the version in the console: it should be 1.3.1.1304.

Make sure you don't have custom stuff in your "base" folder.

Its for 1.3.1 Which version are you playing, pc, linux or mac? Maybe Ivan can think of something.
Also, what is the full error message?

Cool demo, was hell of a fun to play through. I might even consider doing a small map for it... would be cool anyways a mod-in function, so that anywone can "simply" makes maps which can be easily implemented to your mod.

Okay, the mod doesn't seem to load when I select it in the mod list. It loads without any error message, but it's just the normal Doom3. When I start new game, it's Doom3, not HardQore2. Starting from the bat file doesn't do anything either. It's just the default Doom3.

Can you describe your configuration?
Are you using the Steam version?
Any warnings or messages in the console after you load the mod from the list?

Make sure all the files of the mod are inside a folder named exactly "hardqore2", which should be inside your doom3 main folder.

Note that if the mod is installed in a different folder and you launch the .bat, than an (almost) empty folder named "hardqore2" is created. In this case the game starts, but it's the normal Doom3.
So make sure the mod is actually placed in the correct folder.
