Hanako - Feudal Japanese Warfare Theme Music

Hanako is a total conversion mod for Unreal Tournament 3 that features realistic Feudal Japanese melee combat constructed off of the principles and techniques of Kendo, Iaito and Ninjitsu. In addition to a gestural combat system, you may display your mastery of the blade in an array of game modes including: Battle (Divided into Village and Battlefield Battles), Castle Siege/Daimyo Assassination, Capture the Informant, Duel and Free/RP Mode. Another layer of strategy comes into play with class-based combat in which you can become a Samurai Kengou and wield the mighty katana or perhaps a Samurai Archer piercing the enemy with devastating arrows or a stealthy Ninja Assassin to name a few of Hanako's six character classes.

Presently, the entire team is working full-force to get Hanako ready for an early playable alpha for Phase 4 of the Make Something Unreal Contest. We are going to try to get all of the game mechanics working minus character classes, get in one to two custom characters and implement our gestural combat system and the remainder of the game's weapons. We may downscale those goals a little bit based on time but we will at least get the basic core weapons (katana, yumi, naginata) working and make sure the first playable alpha is very fun and gives everyone a great idea of where the mod is headed.

Guys develop this with the just released UnrealEngine3 UDK, then u can release this game as a standalone, this game has loads of potential....tracking
We plan on porting over as soon as possible... It will be available as a full-game at some point in the next year.

Sorry for offtop but could you suggest me forums ang groups for unreal engine codding, modelling and animating?
And also what help you mastered this first time?... as i see you`ve made pretty much code
The epic forums are usually the best place to look... Unfortunately most of the best information isn't documented. It's really hard to find solid resources on how-to sort of things. We just do a lot of prototyping and experimenting until things work. Don't give up it can be done!

Will be there more extended gib system?
maybe not extended but we will have fairly finishing moves that DO sever parts as well as other dismemberments, not sure how extensive or how much further it's going to be taken beyond the current system. Either way it's going to be sadistically fun to do.
