A note about Halo modding, It's limited in some ways, don't expect a mod that is as changed or major as CS for HL (Yes, it was a mod). There's limits to what Halo modders can do.
I would use Custom Edition as someone suggested, but for right now I'm using Regular Halo.
1. Most Vehicles in Halo don't take damage. In this mod I am attempting to add this into the game.
(Such as Warthogs that explode)
2. I didn't like how Crewmen were always running away, I'm not making them aggressive Rambos, but don't expect boy scouts anymore. (Expect more than just Crewmen changed)
3. Added weapons to ammo/gun piles, maybe some added NPCs. What changes and how many really depend on how the mod goes.
4.Variety of weapon variations based on the original weapons.
5.Same with Weapons, a variety of Vehicle variations will be present.

I have a few suggestions though. For the snow hog, you could make it shoot incinerary grenades or something. A flame thrower just sounds too close range. And the passenger could control a small machine gun. You should also make the player able to drive all vehicles, including dropships and wraiths. Online players could operate turrets and be able to jump out, then a parachute or jump jet or something. Another good idea, you could copy the battlefield: Bad company's idea of a destructible landscape. NORLY, dont. thats illigal. But you could still do something like that. Anyway, I think if you follow me and spardason21's sugestions, you could have a revolutionary mod coming here.

Hi i would like to help out on this mod if you need help. I have done a few halo pc mods noting to fancy a bit of main menu ui editing retextureing basic things like changeing the color. slight pmi ing put in a pelican. i could post a screen shot of the ui maybe if you need it.

Nice gun there. I think damage needs to be upped slightly and ROF takes a hit to about 3-4 shots a second so it reflects its usage as a more powerful and accurate version of the MA5 rifle, one more for elimination of single targets like Elites or Jackals not spraying Grunt mobs with. In the video at around 1:00 with 100 rounds in reserve for it is the perfect fire rate in my opinion. Up the damage a little so you don't need a whole clip to bring down an Elite's shields and up the accuracy to reflect lowered fire rate and you have one hell of a nice gun! The MA5L shouldn't simply be the stock rifle with a faster fire rate and a smaller clip, it should fill a role between sniper rifle and assault rifle. Oh and slap a 2x zoom in there for good measure. Make the LMG version have 200 rounds a clip. Standard MA5B has 60 so 100 way to small, same with 150. 250-300 too much. Definitely make very inaccurate, up damage slightly so it doesn't suck. Love a good bullet hose. A good shotgun idea would be an assault shotgun. Less damage and pellets, faster fire rate, bigger clip, instant reload. Yes, a full-auto shotgun. RPS should be bit lower than my MA5L's. Something for the Grunts to run in fear from. Definitely a Chief weapon. Oh and seriously up the Chief's melee damage too. For a guy that can flip over a tank, he sure doesn't show his strength in combat. I want Grunts and Jackals to slide and/or catch airtime when I bash them, not just fall down and die. Make Halo and the Chief cool like they can!
