The Master Chief wasn't the only hero on to land on Halo. As the flood was released, a small Earth Cruiser, Phaeton's Chariot, heard of the news, and released the experimental Spartan 3. A genetically modified cyborg, wearing the newly advanced MJOLNIR suit. While capable of carrying out the previous MJOLNIR suit's activities, such as regenerating shields, and shifting density, The new device had stronger shields, the ability to electronically absorb knowledge of it's surroundings, and the skills to carry out new tasks you'll have to wait to see.
To buy time, for the unaware Master Chief to destroy Halo, the Spartan 3, Ares, used his advanced knowledge to use Halo's teleportation grid to clone himself. Harsh deathmatches began, between the four parties: Mankind, Covenant, Flood and Artificial Intelligance. The battle began raged on, the battle for the Marines, the battle for the Spartans, the battle for Earth...the battle for survival...
