Like Halo? Like Half-Life 2? Are you interested in playing with Halo maps and weapons, but wish for the features included with Half-Life 2?
If so Halo-Source is the mod for you.
Halo Source is a mod created in 22nd Sep, 2005. This mod will attempt to recreate the thrilling, fast-paced multiplayer action of Halo on the Source engine.
Halo Source will feature many vehicles, weapons and maps from the Halo series, Half Life Series, and will also include our own additions. You can view more about Halo Sources' features, weapons and vehicles on the about page and the corresponding links on the side bar.
The Halo Source mod is always looking for new talent, If you want to join the Halo: Source team check out 'The Team' page to see if we have any open positions then post on our forums and we'll get back to you as soon as possible!
Stay tuned for the first beta to arrive in late August or early September.

Hey everyone, this is Christian from Halo: Source. We have a couple pictures of models out, so check them out. They are not necissarily new, but they will be new to people who havent seen the yet (duh). I tell yah, I' am not impressed.
From what little I've seen the level design looks like a shitty imitation of the real thing, and construction looks rushed and of poor quality.
Also the models, Did you rip them off of the PC version of Halo:CE? I have a problem with that. The Source engine is much more capable than that. Your mod would look so much better if you make original content.
Also IT'S ILLEGAL! Microsoft can sue you for stealing their content.
It looks like you just want to rip off Halo:CE with out adding anything to it, and rushing it with out worrying about quality. If and I'm stretching IF you finish and released. I bet it'll look horrible, and incredibly buggy. A shallow imitation of a great game.
I've played Halo:CE,2,3 I'm a die hard Halo fan, and avid source moder. Which I'm starting a similar project. I was looking if someone was already working on this, but damn it looks like I should keep working on mine rather than join your mod team.
