Also, one last question, i hope gets answered, if it is for entrenchment, what kind of star base will the USNC have? will it basically be a huge MAC cannon?

because the halo music did not the fit the tempo and speed of the battles. Just because it's halo does not means that halo music has to be played to death over every single halo thing. There is plenty of other good music that compliment it just fine. It really came down to me trying every halo music I had and finding it did not match the pace, or match the battles. Since the battles are hard to stage, I have to find music to fit it, not the other way around.

EDIT: Also, to those asking, yes, the combat seems to have been sped up a bit. At least, in my eyes :D

the AI didn't really build any, one of those in the video was so low level that they got killed straight off, or were just never built. I only saw the AI built one assault carrier. So in that video, I mostly faced off against cruiser level or frigate level. I still was losing 1/3 - 1/2 of my fleets against them and I outnumbered them 3:1 - 5:1.

On phase junp - that's the game, not much we can change about that unless we got some VA's or something.

You need to use the dev.exe. Then you could simply place what ships you wanted and watch them duke it out.

problem with dev is that we still not have all the coding working so it some errors popup. Hopefully be fixed by next release. Also, I'm not that experienced with Sins dev mode quite yet, and I had finals among other things that needed to be done as well. In the end, I've taken the criticism and when I do the covenant trailer, I'll do better. >.>

I think the archer missile contrails need to be significantly shorter, for one I don't like it, but it also seems like to would make it hard to play because of the zillions of lines on the screen. Unless of course the contrails for the missiles are controlled by the sins contrail setting, then my comment would be pointless XD

Starting at 1:02 in this video, that's the way stargate drones behave (The drones are the golden projectiles)

This mod is looking very good so far. I can't wait to see how well this mod works and I welcome the fan created ships as they are the fan's interpretation of the descriptions provided in the novels. I have one minor complaint however and that is the, um, unusual camera work. I'd have to say I liked the camera work in the other trailer better (it seemed more professional). Still the content offered, in my opinion, makes up for the somewhat amateurish camera work. I hope this criticism comes across as constructive as opposed to destructive. Unlike some people, I am really looking forward to the release of this mod and wish to see it and its makers "Live Long and Prosper." ; )

Will the UNSC ships at least be cheaper and faster to build then the covenant ships? Judging from what I'm seeing and reading the covenant ships are better then UNSC (which makes sense) but still, there should be some steps taken to balance gameplay.

And upon reading some of the comments i must say i'm a fan of the ships you designed yourself. I think that supercarrier is a brilliant design, Granted it isn't how i personally imagined it but then that was before halo wars was released, it isn't a boxy or as sturdy looking as say a marathon or a halcyon but i really like the design, it seems to me you have taken insperation from the SoF for it's design rather than the PoA.

I really like the look you've given the Oni Prowler aswell, it really sits well with the description of them in the books.

I hope the "trade ships" look like they were described too, just a large shipping crate type thing with engines in a small pod attached to the back. would be cannonical and lol-worthy at the same time.

Just a footnote - Really looking forward to this mod, please keep up the good work :)

i think that there should be a mini patch or setting that makes it so the covvies have cheaper ships, since the covvies actually had like 10s of thousands of ships in reserve. this would make the unsc a more tactical style race insteado f just over whelming numbers. you know use luring tactics nuclear mines that kinda stuff. it would just make the game much more of a challenge. it can be a difficulty setting or a mini patch, something along those lines, just throwin that in there.
great job by the way, needs alot more (or less in some cases) but meh that can come later once this mod is established right..
