Ignoring Unikraken for that unneeded comment, pretty much it doesn't sound like a Titan, Titans are supposed to be big menacing machines of war, this voice sounds a bit... arcadey. If anything, who ever did the Phoenix refit would be a much better match for this ship.

The ship is supposed to put awe into you when you deploy it, i don't get that when i listen to it. I'm sure it will sound different when it is in-game, but that's my opinion on it.

I honestly agree. The voice sounds like some petty officer straight out of basic with nothing but the vastness of space ahead of him. I would imagine more of a gruff, taxed voice. A voice you can tell has been through the likes of Reach and Harvest.

I thought they were going for a Captain that sounded like Captain Lasky. You know like the actual Captain of the Infinity. In my opinion I would rather feel immersed whenever I built over those few seconds of awe the first time I built it.

I agree, the VA doesn't really sound like a seasoned commander that would be put in charge of the UNSC's most powerful ship.

I appreciate your feed back, I feel however you guys are stuck in soase mindset. Laskey didn't have a big hairy ball dropping low voice, but still managed to command the largest ship in the UNSC fleet.

the voice over is great but when its attacking can u make it say "lets put a couple MAC rounds through their ***"

Yeah, but he also didn't sound like he was 16. And the UNSC Infinity was commanded by Captain Del Rio for years, before Lasky took over.

The voice over is too arcadey, and doesn't match the Tone of when a Titan is deployed, which after a very long time, to hear "have no fear infinity is here" in a high voice is really immersion breaking.

You're an A grade cretin. Did you listen to the track? The actor says 'For New Phoenix' which is post Del Rio command, therefore its safe to assume that this audio is Lasky; who is in command of the Infinity at the time of the New Phoenix incident. You really need to know what you're talking about if you are wanting to give criticism.

Therefore I'd like to take this opportunity to say well done to Uni, Sancho and the rest of the team on their hard work.

The UNSC Infinity is not really supposed to be a titan just a really big capital ship

Lasky is a unique case, he wasn't the original choice for Infinity command. All of the other UNSC Captains we've seen that are in command of larger ships are older and have lower voices: Keyes, Cutter, and Del Rio for example.

Actually, as of Infinity deployment it was basically said that if Lasky wanted command of the ship (and staged a mutiny), he'd have it.

Lasky held the respect of the crew, Del Rio really didn't.

If you've read the Kilo-Five trilogy, Parangosky would've loved to promote Thomas Lasky to Captain and put him in charge, but his current position was more... well... easier for ONI.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but if memory serves me, Lasky was the head of ONIs choice for the command of the Infinity, it was all a matter of timing. its in "Halo: Thursday War" I think

Simple fix: have a broken JCB engine garbling in the background while you speak and shove some gravel in your mouth... cos everybody knows the hero's gotta sound like Grumps McGirt, a dude that needs a lozenge and threatens to eat Com operators children...

I can see the similarities, but I think the voice and some of the lines are a little on the enthusiastic side.

"Have no fear Infinity is here!" Damn my sides hurts right now maybe the UNSC should try use that as some kind of new psychological and/or physical weapon system.

Great quality voice acting there. But might sound a little like a smaller ship and a not a huge titan. :)
But hey its just as good as stock sins voices both in quality and how appropriate it is so im not really complaining. :D

lol..... so wheres the real voice for infinity?

//JK lol. but i do think it's not intimidating enough, maybe get one of the covenant voice actors to do it or something? i'd imagine they'd have a good voice for something like the infinity.

Well in my varied opinion, at first, I can relate to some other members where I say that specific voice just doesn't match the scale and awe of humanity's flagship vessel. Then I noticed the similarities between this voice and Lasky's. By the end of the clip, I stand on the team's side. Like the Phoenix, he was trying to sound like everyone's favorite/most renown Captain of the ship. Cutter for the Phoenix, Lasky for the Infinity. I honestly don't see any issue with it, great job Jeremy and Sancho.

I'm honestly on the fence with this one. I like that the voice sounds like Laskey's, and I also agree that it sounds...Arcadey...My personally suggestion is the lines themselves. I don't think Laskey would sound so...optimistic or school-boyish. If the lines are spoken like laskey, but more seasoned, serious, and less over eager like a gung-ho green recruit never seen combat, that might be a good compromise?

That's just my two bits though.

I think now you should write its name near UNSC on hull. It's only logical.

The UNSC Infinity was in development during the Human-Covenant War, as a last ditch effort to drive back the Covenant. Unfortunately the zealous aliens discovered Earth long before it could have been used in a combat role. Fast-forward a few years, the collapse of the empire, and the addition of forerunner technology; the Infinity is now a monstrous war machine. Its presence has evened the playing field driving remnant covenant forces cowering! In Sotp the Infinity will act as the UNSC's Titan! Enjoy this sneak peak at the Infinity's Voice Over!
