Hello SOTP fans! Below is a listing of all the stuff coming in the patch. I apologize for not getting it out when I said - it's more difficult then you'd think...
Expect to see the patch within the next few days... I promise to have it out by the weekend.
Anyways, here ya go!
Game Play Changes
- Removed Infection research
- Added Charon Class Frigate Passive: .25% MAC damage increase for nearby ships, 25% max
- Added Berlin Class Frigate Passive: 1% stacking bombardment cool-down for nearby ships, 20% max
- Increased Eion Carrier slot count from 12 to 15
- decreased UNSC Bomber squad size from 5 to 3
- decreased UNSC Fighter squad size from 6 to 4
- decreased EXP gains from killing Flood Spores.
- Increased Super Carrier Research from 800,150,100 to 1000, 2000, 500
- Reworked Anchor Station
- Reworked abilities for UNSC Valiant Class Capital ship
- Designate Target Research no longer requires Eion Class light carrier research as a prerequisite. (still required for Valiant ability)
- Removed Sabotage Engines (AKA Demobots) research and ability
- Removed the Novalith Cannon from being build-able by the UNSC
- Removed Sabotage Reactor ability and research from Charon-class frigate.
Cosmetics/Bug Fixes
- Fixed Starbase constructor bug. The constructor will now require its proper research in order to be built.
- Fixed missing string error in Sabre interceptor squad description.
- Fixed bug with Marathon Design research button bug where hovering over the icon would display the wrong icon.
- Added new start up video
- Removed particle effect from Thanatos-class destroyer's Advanced AI ability.
- Removed vanilla phase jump particle effects.
- Renamed PSIDAR to SADAR (Slipspace Anomaly Detection and Ranging).
- Replaced all instances of phase with slipspace, except for phase missiles and phase lanes.
- Changed Raloz Constructor strings to Hephaestus Automated Construction Unit
Audio
- Added custom game over dialog strings for UNSC, Covenant, and Forerunners.
- Added SFX for MAC (placeholder) and Archer Missile fire triggers
- Added updated VO's for Covenant Neutrals
- Beefed up Slipspace Exit SFX
- Removed minor clipping in main menu track when the song ends
- Replaced USNC Battle 2 with standard Battle Track

Dude...im telling you, the forerunners are still there...and you will see from what i know, the creators of the franchise(Halo) always have surprises waiting for us...they still havent told what hapened to Dr. Helsing and a group of spartans that managed to survive in the Forerunner shield world "Onyx"....they were Master Chief's remaining team...they also discovered that the Forerunners werent hiding there as they were hoped to be, but they left a clue of their master plan..which gives you a clue that they just scaped to save them selves....and these spartans didnt died..Helsing and Mendez dind died as well...probably in the next game or books they will tell...from what i know Chief isnt the only remaining SpartanII out there and the others 5 or 4 surviving spartans are considered to be SpartansIII's.. New generation!!!! ^^.
Wow who taught you to spell? And first Halo Reach butchered Canon. If it followed the books Halsey would not be talking at the end of Reach. She, Mendez, and a few other Spartans are stuck on a Forerunner shield world. No Forerunners made it there. They are dead and gone. Long dead and gone.
Just because the Forerunners didn't make it to "Onyx" doesn't mean they're dead. A race as expansive as that, with their technology, would've made more than one shield world. Look at us for instance, we're meant to be their ancestors right? Meaning some of them survived for starters, secondly, we have multiple contingency plans in place for a disaster. You think the forerunners were going to rely on a single shield world to save their entire species that obviously inhabited many worlds, considering the abundance of ruins. Not to mention the rings. In reference to "Onyx" there is a high chance that the forerunners -are- inside that world, we only really got a brief description of the place, and are probably watching us.
Everything Humans have found shows they are dead. If they were not dead why has no one seen them since? Why would they not re-emerge and reclaim all their lost worlds? You cannot say they do not need them anymore because the rings were fired thousands of years ago...SO they would need their worlds again.
Where are they?
Hey is it just me or does everyone have free xbox live at the moment??? My subscription ended on the 15th Jan but here I am playing Halo Reach online! =D Is Microsoft being kind or just a glitch?? :/

You Forerunners have had your time at the top. When you lost the Mantle and the war to the Flood, you relinquished your place in the universe. Humanity will rule the stars and nothing you do will avert that.
give us a beta,lol, and will they have sheilds, the uncs, because there not supposed to
He has to be. Without him humanity may not have a chance if we discover another hostile alien race.
