Description
The UNSC's titan when the player chooses the ONI tree.
The sheer power of its shielding and weaponry are incredible, the result of forerunner technological integration and years of dedicated weapons research. Aside from its already formidable battle abilities, it also boasts deployable Strident-class heavy frigates. Quite simply, it tends to make Covenant ships look lamer than FDR's legs.
Credit for this delicious model (clocking in at only 8,357 triangles btw) goes to the Didact.

Quick question, have you guys nailed down exactly how it will deploy the Stridents within the limitations of the SoaSE engine?
Not speaking for the devs but, I'm pretty sure they'll be called in similarly to the vasari's dark fleet.

There is no other Human faction. We are not doing the faction split like Vanilla.

Implying that there will be a different ship for the other tree, which I believe is the Military Industrial Complex.
It's not a total tree split I will not go into details as we are no where near finished with how the split will work but it is not quite like that.
Mabye the super cruiser mentioned in Fall of Reach or something like that.

Wasn't it stated in halo Thursday war that the infinity was under fleetcoms control and not ONI?
I find it hard to believe that ONI could ever keep such a ship secret. I mean it's just the definition of massive. People would notice something this big floating around space blowing up covenant ships.

Yeah but we have already seen the ship at Earth a few times. I am pretty sure somebody with a telescope or someone who was in orbit would have noticed a ship that big.

Also, are you guys planning on adding the beam cannons the Infinity seemed to use in Halo 4? Or was that just 343 being pants on head retarded?
Didact spoke with someone that was part of the development of the Infinity, she has 5 frontal MAC cannons and no energy projectors. Sorry mate.

A bit off topic, but since the Infinity had some seriously OP shields, will selecting the ONI Tech tree will allow me to research/refit my other ships with shield generators at some point?
