Description

The CSO-Class "Long Night of Solace" was deployed in the Covenant invasion of Reach, August 12th, 2552. During Operation: UPPER CUT, the ship was destroyed by a "Slipspace bomb", a Shaw-Fujikawa Translight Engine rigged to fire part of the CSO into Slipspace, disintegrating the midsection of The Long Night of Solace. It later fell out of geosynchronous-orbit around Reach and rained its debris on the surface.
