Description

Moddb.com

Halo: Fleet Battles introduced the Reach variant of the SMAC stations, a more powerful orbital platform, that we intend to use to add some depth and interest back into the UNSC defensive postures. They achieve a high rate of fire by cycling between the two barrels present while cooling the other.

These will be controlled by the in-game superweapon mechanic, meaning there will be a hard limit to how many you can have in a map based directly on the number of planets you control. Odds are it will be something similar to 1 per 2 planets. You'll be able to place all of them wherever you like, but you won't have many even in large matches.

Right now we're calling this the Super Heavy MAC (SHMAC), but official in-game name TBD.
