Looks great! Wondering if they are as expendable as they are in Halo: Reach

Just a question, Unikraken, why are the plasma cannons on the banshees sticking so far out?

Description of the last image:
The craft sports two heavy plasma cannons, which are elongated in comparison with those of the Type-26's standard model, providing greatly increased range and firepower.

Because it's a Type 27.

Man,i know you guys have discussed it already, but the Seraph is by no means a bomber!!! is a Space-superiority fighter, the Banshee should be the bomber

mmm I see what you mean, but if the seraph can't be the bomber, the banshee even less. It's quite difficult to balance unsc and covenant fighters and bombers. The reasons are:

UNSC

Longsword is both and interceptor strike fighter/bomber. (multirole, but doesn't have shields)
Halopedia.org

Sabre is a planet surface-launched space-superiority starfighter/interceptor (reason why it is used as planetary defense fighters, although I don't know why it is considered a bomber too ingame. It uses shields)

Broadsword is a strike fighter that uses shields. They can easily match other covenant fighters.

Shortsword is an atmospheric-only tactical bomber. (So cant be used in space)

covenant

Seraph is the main Multi-role Fighter or also known as Seraph-class Starfighter. (it uses energy shields, and it replaced the Gigas-class fighter-bomber, so it should have bomber capabilities too)

Space banshee is a Exoatmospheric Multi-role Fighter/Interceptor (without shields, and obviously less powerful than seraphs)

Vampire is an atmospheric close support fighter. (So cant be used in space)

to sum up:

Longsword: Fighter/Interceptor/Bomber.
Sabre: Planetary space superiority Interceptor/Fighter.
Broadsword: Interceptor/Fighter.

Seraph: Interceptor/Fighter/Bomber.
Space Banshee: Interceptor/Fighter.

I'd like to see a battle where a banshee firing plasma cannons and fuel rod guns at thick Titanium-A armor would do anything but minor dents and scorch marks.

Except you forget that human ships have many weaknesses... such as glass windows on the bridge and throughout the hull. A direct blast from a banshee there could cripple a ship and cause a venting of atmosphere.

Description

Some glamor shots of the Banshee now that she's in game. For now she'll be the Covenant fighter and the Seraph the bomber.
