A Halo mod for the critically acclaimed Sins of a Solar Empire, that aims to capture the fast paced intensity of the Halo series.
During engagements UNSC battlegroups unload ridiculous amounts of ammunition and, more often than not, come back badly damaged and in need of serious repair. You see here a fleet nearly ready to return to the fighting.

Holy sweet forerunner halo! awe inspiring man keep up the work as far as I can see its incredible
safe
0_0 Nice!
cant wait until the forerunners show up! really enjoy playing the mod guys, you've done the halo universe proud!
just quick question why did you remove the eion carrier from all but the insurrectionists
The Eion is still in the UNSC fleet, so I will assume you are talking about the Athens. The Athens was removed first and foremost as it doesn't fit in the UNSC roster; it completely overlapped with the Eion role wise. Secondly, this ship class was considered ancient when Master Chief was a child, let alone by the time of the Human-Covenant war.
In the current public release, the Athens is still in the UNSC fleet and the Eion only in the insurrectionist fleet, after being removed from the first Rebellion Release. Though last I heard the Athens is being replaced by the Eion again, but don't quote me on it.
Very Nice.
cool ElijahBI u're good at this.... tho the planet below looks kinda plain :/
Thanks! The planet is actually Reach, the shot takes place over it's larger ocean though, something that is never really seen in Halo Reach.
ok that is odd because my only none capital carrier is the athens i only see the eion with the insurrectionist or what ever we are calling them that have small fleets on the planets at the start of thge game
I don't think Lavo was very clear. In the public build you have the Eion is an innie ship and the Athens is a non-capital carrier. We've switched that around in the private build that we're working on. Athens are retired from UNSC service.
So if I understand it correctly in next release Eion will be once again playable ship and Athens will be thrown to neutral faction?
Yes.
that makes sense thank you
I agree, rather have Eion then Athens but I like both ships anyway

Sweet! If you liked this one, I'm sure you'll love the ones that are still in the works!
I love it!
Damn! if this is in game than holy sh*t that's cool!!
Did you read the description? I specifically say it's not an in-game shot.
Doesn't change the fact it looks cool...
uni Wanted to point this out. Whats the size of the fighter/ bomber complement, and the fleet cost on the Eion in the private build? if it's only one squadron, the the UNSC has no suitable, dedicated carrier for strategic operations. A light carrier is suitable for small battlegroups, but becomes increasingly cost-prohibitive at a higher level if the cost to deploy reaches 12-20 fleet points. Not to moan and complain here, but if the Eion can only deploy one squadron, then other ships like the Phoenix Assault Ship or standard cruisers should be able to deploy at least one more squad than they currently do. The Thermopolae-class is good and all, but I'm not bothering to deploy more than two at any time, even if they carried 100 squads of fighters.
