The military refitted variant, all hardpointed and whatnot.
It cannot be distinguished from the original. Good job. One of my favourite ships in this mod.
IT can be easily distinguished from the original. For one theres another bridge, for two theres guns on it, for three, it just looks more heavily armored due to the textures.
plus there's the observation deck =3
In fact, guns exist on the original... they simply pop-up from the structure when needed... possible to make in sins but will eat a lot of particle...
Texturing was a choice for being able to make the difference between the civilian and military one... normally, the military version was planned to be almost black but it seem that color difference was somehow washed in sins...
In the shape itself, the front top is somehow different... canon are different... and a bunch of details are different... give me a game engine who accept a model having 10 time more poly and it will have fewer differences...
He's talking about the original from Halo Wars. It was a compliment.
That's exactly what I meant. I do see the differences between the civilian and military one...

Admiral,this the UNSC "Dark Dragon", ready to own some covenant..^^
it looks similar to the CaC, or Covenant Assault Carrier, in a way. look at the bulge in the front and it's connector to the bulge. The engines and the whole thing is what makes it similar to the CaC. plus it's a rival to the Covenant Destroyer, and is tons smaller than the CaC.
Amazing work CanadaMan. Very good texture on all the ships that have been posted so far. But I have to say that this particular ship is THAT good, it's bordering on pornography :). I was just wondering, what kind of weapons will be available on the upgraded Military Phoenix class?

A MAC, deck guns, ATAF missiles, and archer missiles.
No directly weapons but usefull in combat... civil have 4 reactor, military have 8 ( more speed is usefull in space combat )... military add 10 fighter/bomber bay ( usefull in combat too )... military have a other top plate, with more strong hull ( again usefull in combat )...

Both page are on the same wiki... in one case, the ship is 7920 feet, in the other 8200 feet... first have not the ATAF missile, the other have it... one say +52 50mm point defense, the other say the same along a comment : "citation needed" ), etc...
Don't trust the Halo wiki... all are fan based... make your own research...
