I know other people like renaming their ships but still, it looks better with infinity as its logo. Thats just what it is the infinity nothing else but that.

The ship is Infinity-class. If it was some kind of hero-type it would make sense to have it locked as the "Infinity" but it's a buildable class of ship, the fact that you can only have one doesn't change this.

It's the same as having the Autumn-class rather than just the "Pillar of Autumn".

The UNSC Infinity is the lead ship of the Infinity class; meaning it was the first Infinity class vessel commissioned by the UNSC. There is one for every other UNSC ship ex. UNSC Paris, UNSC Charon, UNSC Stalwart and so on.

I respect your opinion, but that's just not how we've handled the situation. Like most of how we've done the mod, you're being allowed to create your own story here.

You guys do know that the Pillar of Autumn was a Halcyon-class, though? Never heard of such a thing as a "autumn class".

It's a new class of ships built to replace the Marathon and Halcyon. It's based of the Pillar of Autumn, the most powerful Halcyon cruiser due to it's many refits. I see it as a tribute to the PoA.

Yeah the Pillar of Autumn was a heavily-modified Halcyon. After it's proven effectiveness in combat at the Battle of Reach and Installation 04, the modifications were standardised and a new class of ship was commissioned in honour of the Pillar of Autumn: the Autumn-class.

Likely shame. In the modding community asking for release dates is considered taboo or rude, because if we had a public release date we'd already have told you.

We're still doing what we said we were doing in the last big news item: rebuilding the mod from the ground up.
