Here at Broken Line Studios, we are strong at work making a mod that will allow you to playout your space-farring Haloic fantasies within the Homeworld 2 engine.
Imagine fighting for your races survival as the always brave United Nations Space Corps Defense Force (or UNSCDF for short.) or overpowering your foes as the dreaded Covenant. Relive key battles in the Halo-universe. Battle above Reach, Earth (First and Second Battle) Installation 04, Harvest and more!
We are proud to bring you this (in development) Total-Conversion mod for Homeworld 2. Replacing the boring Vaygr and Hiigarian with the UNSCDF and the Covenant.

As many of you should have guess, the Flood being announced as a playable faction was a BRILLIANT April Fool's joke......and that was sarcasm.
All the Covenant Ships shown in that last update though, were, infact, real. After our ingenious joke, you may not believe me. And why should you? We just crushed your dreams of a 3 faction game!!! Just to prove the Covie ships were real, here's some titillating new promo images of the CCS and the Seraph.

Furthermore, we have some epic renders of the new Halcyon-class cruiser. Mounting a single MAC and what by today's standards would be considered a pitiful ammount of archer missles, the Halcyon makes up for it's lack of offence by being near indestructable due to it's unique design

Did you try google? -.-
yea i went to a forum of tech help on the sierra homeworld 2 website but nothing of what i was lookin for
i have a pretty good idea well i think it is if you look at the SMAC gun you will see what looks like 2 docking ports or something like that well what you guys should consider is a subsystem to put 2 smaller MACs on both ports for defense so it wont be destroyed easliy or dock 2 ships with the weakest MACs so they aim all 3 MACs at the same target and when they fire they fire all three at the same exact time
I don't think it really needs extra MAC's...seeing as it can already destroy most covenant ships with one shot from beyond their normal firing range...
yeah even though it is very powerful it is very vulnerable but i guess your right
That's what tactical usage of support ships is for.
well it was a thought
Nope...All the ones that have come before us have died, and all the current ones are still working, just on different games.
