Here at Broken Line Studios, we are strong at work making a mod that will allow you to playout your space-farring Haloic fantasies within the Homeworld 2 engine.

Imagine fighting for your races survival as the always brave United Nations Space Corps Defense Force (or UNSCDF for short.) or overpowering your foes as the dreaded Covenant. Relive key battles in the Halo-universe. Battle above Reach, Earth (First and Second Battle) Installation 04, Harvest and more!

We are proud to bring you this (in development) Total-Conversion mod for Homeworld 2. Replacing the boring Vaygr and Hiigarian with the UNSCDF and the Covenant.

Feel free to show us your support by joining our forums and telling us what you think!

Well, I just tried out Beta's version of the mod so far, and I'm quite impressed seeing this stuff in game so far.

He has quite a few models in game so far, the Destroyer, Halcyon [Built around the PoA at the moment] Longsword, Pelicans, Banshees [I don't know why those are in there though], and Phantoms, how ever I wasn't surprised to find the textures on all but the destroyer a bit bugged.

The destroyer is nearly fulled rigged weapon wise, with 26 archers and a nuke launcher, the MAC didn't seem to work how ever and the nukes seem to have been mixed up with the archers damage wise, but the massive swarm of missles mushrooming off the hull of a enemy ship is pleasing

Oh, and following a longsword squad around as they gracefully glide past the PoA brings back awsome memories of getting Halo for the first time, and watching the Autumn's last stand

Like I said, despite the very unfinished buggy appearance of it, with a little imagination it's looking perfect so far.

Like NT said, and although missles were more visible the ships fire MAC slugs as their primary weapon.

There really is no "primary weapon" in HW2.

longest range is considered primary, since the ship will only force itself within range of its furthest weapon, then it will attempt to stay there, even if its next weapon is FAR better

nope lol that marathon has only 10 archer pods, while in the halo story it has over 128......it just looks like a lot because of the missiles trails and the fact the missiles are larger than in halo

If you're worrying about lag, then do not worry. We will have numbers sorted out at a later date.

ntm, we're gonna cut down the missile polys lol

eh, if lag does become a problem, we may release 2 versions, 1 that really canon in the number of missiles, and one thats cut back
