Our representation of Halo's iconic space combat in the Homeworld 2 engine, which puts the player in command of some of the most powerful weapons fielded by the UNSC and Covenant and to provide a balanced and competitive experience.
FX wise that is. Not in terms of giant purple covenant blobs of doom.
Though it's unlikely that the FX will actually end up like this, this is a sort of concept for the FX, especially muzzle flashes and tracers, as well as a bit of practice getting the Covenant done in 2d.
Anyway, enjoy.
If only if only lol.
now that is a battle, it's beautiful...
I really like how the MAC effect isn't fire. I'm always tired of seeing a magnetically fired round in vacuum looking like a bullet shot.
I agree wholeheartedly. There isn't any fire with a MAC shot. There's a helluva lot of heat, but no fire, since there's no powder. The books all describe them as bolts of rather straight lightning, which this picture pulls off pretty well.
(buried)
What is this ****.
it is a concept of what if !
I am the what-if.
Lol my comment was burried. :P
yall should talk to the pds guys they did allot of work on muzzle flashes
Muzzle flashes aren't that hard, really, effects in general aren't, it's just a matter of combining them so they react well with each other and fit the weapon in question.
Hey Aliah, did you ever get my mail?
No, unless you sent it to my Yahoo address, contacted me over MSNM, or sent a PM over ModDB, I wouldn't see it.
No one's spotted the new ship yet?
Can't really be sure, half the ships there are blobs of paint, the unsc ships look like ones you've already released. Guess you need to differentiate them better eh?
The new ship in there is UNSC.
It's the thing above the two Longswords and slightly right of the small Covenant ship. Everything else that's UNSC looks familiar.
Yes that's it.
Which type of ship is it?
