Our representation of Halo's iconic space combat in the Homeworld 2 engine, which puts the player in command of some of the most powerful weapons fielded by the UNSC and Covenant and to provide a balanced and competitive experience.
The cutest little corvette you'll ever see.
Gonna have to talk to Zero about freighters and stuff, but this will be the basic tug for the UNSC, it can carry one supply crate and is fairly cheap. I'm thinking that you'll unlock bigger freighters that can carry more crates at once, which will also be more heavily armoured and possibly faster.
Cute <3
what are the supply creates for?
It's for packing up your fleet for summer vacation and moving to the beach resort.
for crating supplies =P
Refer to the screenshots of the mining corvette and read the description.
Yea, I think that it would be a good idea to have bigger freighters you can research. That way half of your fleet wont be comprised of tugs to supply the other half. And just curious (I know what you're thinking: "GOD DAMMIT MAN, STOP IT WITH YOUR CURIOSITY!!" XD), but how big would the maps probably be? If the maps are big enough, how about a Jump Freighter?
Not sure on exact sizes, but it'll take a good while for you to go from your base to your resource asteroid, and will probably have about 2 that you'll "own", and one in the centre that's up for grabs.
A jump freighter might not exist, and i've been told apparently having a ship carry multiple crates isn't possible, so it'll just be freighters. Most likely speed and armament will vary.
awww that kinda sucks. Just kinda hope that the resource fields will be big enough (in amount of RUs) to fund a LOOOONG game (i like to draw my matches on as long as i can. It's fun toying with my enemies till one of us dies!! ^-^ ).
i agree however i like watching them keep building shipyards for them to be destroyed by the absolute ton of macs that i have that in itself is fun that and i try to make a halo worthy UNSC fleet
i'll be moving my mothership closer to the asteroids i thinks
Then you'll extend the journey to the other asteroid. Your mothership will be in the middle and the asteroids placed an equal distance away.
The station moves so slow, it will take years.
does it have slipspace capability
Yes, how else does it mover star system to star system.
then i will slip it too and fro lol who needs engines when you have slipspace =P
Operating your Shaw-Fujikawa slipspace drive consumes materials, you know.
Indeed BUT what I plan on doing is slipping to an astroid dropping off a shipyard and then slipping over to another asteroid and holding position until it runs dry :)
Slipspacing will be extremely expensive. You wouldn't be getting enough RUs to even break even.
lol ok then I need a new strategy, any suggestions?
Using the refinery ships??
yeah I'll do that but I thought you said there would be a line of freighters going back to Anchor 12
Well that's the point.
Yeah but that means I have to protect it and I have to wait for the resources I micromanaged so hard to get, to come to me lol I'll decide on my strategy when the new update comes but at least I won't have to worry about it on vanilla maps lol
It will probably be worse on vanilla maps since second asteroid fields are farther away.
Excuse me while I cry quietly in the corner, I have to think of another good strategy lol =P
